PGA Tour: ‘OOO’ hat among highlights at 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson merchandise tent

Check out the best merchandise of the week, including an “Out of Office” hat that’s perfect for Thursday and Friday PGA Tour tickets

Since the PGA Championship is in the Northeast next week, the field at the AT&T Byron Nelson at TPC Craig Ranch isn’t as strong as it has been in recent years, but there are still storylines galore this week. The Tom Weiskopf design is playing as a par 71 and measures 7,414 yards.

Scottie Scheffler can get back to No. 1 in the world with a victory, and he’s making waves, holding the 36-hole lead at 14 under. Ryan Palmer, a North Texas golf staple, is also in the hunt.

Check out the best merchandise of the week from the 2023 AT&T Byron Nelson, including an “Out of Office” hat that’s perfect for Thursday and Friday PGA Tour tickets and a tumbler with a built-in Bluetooth speaker.

Photos: Merchandise at 2023 LIV Golf Tulsa at Cedar Ridge Country Club

Here’s a look at the merchandise from LIV Golf Tulsa at Cedar Ridge Country Club.

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. — Bryson DeChambeau spoke Thursday about the importance of growing his Crushers team brand.

It’s one of the selling points of LIV Golf, marketing teams as individual franchises. That includes branding, logos and merchandise, which is fully on display at the LIV Golf Tulsa merchandise tent at Cedar Ridge Country Club.

Inside, there are only a couple of items associated with Tulsa. However, the LIV logo and team apparel are ever present.

RangeGoats, 4Aces, Smash or Ripper, there are plenty of hats, shirts, towels and more for golf fans to take home.

2023 Chevron Championship merchandise photos: Featuring ‘Girls Rule’ gear for kids and cowboy hats

What item is your favorite at this year’s Chevron Championship.

THE WOODLANDS, Texas – The merchandise tent at the Chevron Championship is brimming with junior golf goodies, from “Girls Rule” shirts to major championship teddy bears.

There’s plenty for adults as well, including cowboy hats and crossbody handbags with the trophy’s silhouette.

This marks the first year the Chevron Championship is being held in The Woodlands on the Nicklaus Course at The Club at Carlton Woods. For 51 years the tournament was staged on the Dinah Shore Tournament Course at Mission Hills Country Club.

Proceeds from much of what’s in the merchandise tent goes to a good cause. Profits made from the Trophy Collection, for example, will be used to carry-forward Dinah Shore’s legacy by funding the Chevron Dinah Shore Scholarships annually through the LPGA Foundation.

2023 Zurich Classic Fan Shop photos: Featuring Mardi Gras beads and an homage to Tri-Pod the gator

What item is your favorite?

AVONDALE, La. — The merchandise tent at the Zurich Classic is about the size of your run-of-the-mill PGA Tour event but inside it features a collection of T-shirts and accessories that represent the Crescent City proudly.

Props to whoever calls the shots for spicing it up with some gear from Tasc and Barstool Sports and while there are plenty of odes to New Orleans’s music scene and Mardi Gras beads, my favorite has to be the homage to Tri-Pod, golf’s favorite three-legged alligator that famously called TPC Louisiana, site of the Zurich Classic, home and gained #legendary status.

The head cover game at the Zurich Classic is particularly strong and it also featured probably the best kids section I’ve seen all year. Sign me up for a Putt Dat shirt for my little one.

Here’s a look at what’s available at this week’s Zurich Classic fan shop.

Take a scroll through some of the best merchandise available this year from the Valspar Championship.

PALM HARBOR, Fla. — Fans coming in from the cold and rainy temperatures on Wednesday at the Valspar Championship were looking for warmth. The volunteers working the merchandise shop let them know that there were no gloves or pants on sale. But they did have a bucket of umbrellas going for $44.99 each.

Billed as “The Most Colorful PGA Tour Tournament in the World,” the merchandise for the event that’s sponsored by a paint company certainly lives up to the motto. With St. Patrick’s Day coming on Friday, March 17, four-leaf clovers cover everything from hats to shirts to hoodies. And at Innisbrook’s Copperhead Course, home of the Snake Pit, there are plenty of Copperheads hiding in plain sight on clothing racks.

Photos: 2023 Arnold Palmer Invitational merchandise tent is fit for a king

The API’s merch tent is loaded.

ORLANDO — Props to Fanatics, the manufacturer and retailer of licensed sportswear, and Puma because they have hit it out of the park on the gear at the Arnold Palmer Invitational this year.

You might say it is fit for a King.

I’ve been lovingly wearing my long-sleeve T for the past year of Palmer depicted as if it was the cover of a Bob Marley album (and having random people stop me in the supermarket to tell me how much they like it too) and figured I don’t need anymore API gear, but they got me to whip out the credit card for this cool shirt of Mr. Palmer’s golf cart and faithful dog at the ready. If they had really been faithful to the image, they would have had about 25 clubs stuffed in the bag, which is how Mr. Palmer rode, rather than three, but who am I to quibble?

Other than the Masters merchandise shop, this is about as good as it gets. Here’s a closer look at the shirts, hats, and assorted goodies to be had at the API.

Photos: Check out the 25,000 square-foot merchandise tent at 2023 WM Phoenix Open

The merchandise tent at TPC Scottsdale is five times the size it was a year ago.

SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. — The WM Phoenix Open, the fifth-oldest tournament on the PGA Tour, has a brand new – and humungous – merchandise tent for the 2023 rendition of the People’s Open.

A year ago, the merch tent was 5,000-square-feet. This time around, it checks in at five times the size.

That’s right, 25,000 square feet of hats, pullovers, t-shirts, golf towels, balls, ball markers, pint glasses…. the list goes on and on.

The iconic 16th hole, which has its own logo, is heavily represented on the merch and with a big logo right when fans walk in.

Photos: The best merchandise at the 2023 Farmers Insurance Open

The merchandise tent at the Farmers Insurance Open is loaded with gear featuring the tournament’s iconic venue, Torrey Pines.

San Diego — Not only are the views around Torrey Pines at this week’s Farmers Insurance Open tough to beat, but so is the merchandise.

The pro shop for the two municipal courses —North and South — is loaded with gems, including nods to the iconic host venue —one of the better logos in golf — and several head covers that would make a great addition to any bag.

There’s also a merchandise tent on the golf course in the Fan Zone with even more fan favorites. Plenty of hats, shirts, quarter vests, hoodies and sweaters, which would have come in handy on a breezy day. From Puma to Johnnie-O and Travis Mathew and Ahead, the Torrey Pines pro shop has it covered.

Knit hats? Long sleeves? Chilly weather has made these items popular at the American Express merchandise tent

Colder-than-normal temperatures have greeted patrons, particularly in the early mornings.

A knit cap has been a surprisingly popular item at this year’s American Express merchandise tent as colder-than-normal temperatures have greeted patrons, particularly in the early mornings.

It’s not all apparel and golf balls at the merchandise area, which is actually the year-round pro shop at PGA West. Shot glasses are an option as well.

The classic straw hat is a big seller. It is still the desert after all, and keeping that sun out of your face is a constant battle at the American Express.

Plenty of women’s apparel is available, including a fleece pullover that has been useful, again with the temps in the 60s this year instead of the traditional mid- to upper-70s.

Baseball caps are always available at PGA Tour events, and we can’t say the American Express logo is altogether exciting, but designers stayed true to their blue and white color scheme. The PGA West logo has the nice sun and mountains view, though.

And of course, it’s only fair that at this event a certain credit card will get you a discount.

Here’s a peek at some of the best items at this week’s store:
