UGA football offers big New Orleans OT

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2023 offensive tackle prospect Tyree Adams

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered a scholarship to class of 2023 offensive tackle prospect Tyree Adams. The Dawgs, who have had much more success recruiting Louisiana under Kirby Smart, are among the latest schools to offer the three-star offensive lineman.

Adams plays football for St. Augustine High School in New Orleans, Louisiana. The 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle has offers from schools like Georgia, Michigan, Indiana, Penn State, Texas A&M, Florida, and many more.

Brian Kelly and the LSU Tigers should have an edge recruiting Tyree Adams. Kelly has an excellent history of developing offensive line talent and LSU is the school of choice for most of the top talent within the state.

The three-star offensive tackle is rated as the No. 520 recruit in the class of 2023 and the No. 19 recruit in Louisiana.

Adams announced his scholarship offer from the Georgia Bulldogs via his Twitter account:

Congratulations to the young man from New Orleans. If he does not attend Georgia, then there is a good chance the Bulldogs will be playing against him in the SEC.

UGA football flips another 4-star: DB Julian Humphrey

Kirby Smart and UGA have flipped former Florida commitment Julian Humphrey, a 4-star class of 2022 DB.

Four-star defensive back recruit Julian Humphrey has committed to the Georgia Bulldogs football program after previously being committed to the Florida Gators.

Julian ‘Julio’ Humphrey, a four-star class of 2022 cornerback, committed to UGA over LSU and Texas A&M.

Humphrey, who ranks as the nation’s No. 94 overall recruit and No. 12 cornerback, backed off his commitment to Florida in October. He was favored to commit to UGA.

It is yet another win for Georgia over the Gators for Kirby Smart. Georgia dominated Florida 34-7 on Oct. 30, and Florida lost an ugly 40-17 game to South Carolina last week.

Georgia Bulldogs also flipped class of 2023 wide receiver recruit Raymond Cottrell from Dan Mullen and Florida earlier this week.

The Dawgs have the No. 2 recruiting class in the country behind Alabama. Dan Mullen and Florida have the No. 22 class of 2022.

Humphrey plays for Clear Lake High School in Texas. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback out of Houston, Texas, brought a bulldog to the ceremony when he announced his commitment to UGA.

Humphrey visited Georgia on Oct. 1, the weekend UGA hosted Arkansas. The four-star defensive back also recently visited Texas A&M.

Humphrey is another example of Kirby Smart and Jimbo Fisher battling on the recruiting trail in the class of 2022.

Dan Mullen and UF also recently lost a commitment from four-star linebacker Shemar James, the No. 70 player in the nation. James is considering Georgia and Alabama. Things seem to be unraveling right now for the Florida Gators.

4-Star cornerback Julian Humphrey is ready to commit

Kirby Smart and UGA are looking to flip former Florida commitment Julian Humphrey, who is near a decision.

Four-star defensive back recruit Julian Humphrey is ready to make his commitment. Humphrey announced his decision will come sometime between Nov. 8 and Nov. 14 via Twitter.

The Georgia Bulldogs are among the top three schools for former Florida Gators commit Julian ‘Julio’ Humphrey. The four-star class of 2022 cornerback puts UGA, LSU and Texas A&M in his top schools.

Where will Humphrey go? It would be surprising to see him sign early with LSU considering the situation surrounding the program (coach Ed Orgeron is leaving after the season). LSU has an excellent reputation with their ability to develop and recruit defensive backs, so they should not be counted out.

Humphrey, who ranks as the nation’s No. 94 overall recruit and No. 12 cornerback, backed off his commitment to Florida in October. He is favored to commit to UGA.

If Humphrey commits to Georgia, then it would be yet another win over the Gators for Kirby Smart. Georgia dominated Florida 34-7 on Oct. 30. Florida just lost again to South Carolina in a game that was not close.

The Dawgs have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country. Dan Mullen and Florida have the No. 22 class of 2022.

Humphrey plays for Clear Lake High School in Texas. The 6-foot-1, 185-pound cornerback out of Houston, Texas, recently announced his top three schools via Twitter.

Humphrey visited Georgia on Oct. 1, the weekend UGA hosted Arkansas. The four-star defensive back visited Texas A&M recently, too. The Aggies appear to be Kirby Smart’s main competition in landing a commitment from Humphrey.

Kirby Smart and Jimbo Fisher have been battling along the recruiting trail a lot in the class of 2022.

Dan Mullen and UF also recently lost a commitment from four-star linebacker Shemar James, the No. 70 player in the nation. Things seem to be unraveling right now for the Gators.

Four-star CB Isaiah Johnson makes commitment

Georgia Bulldogs recruiting target Isaiah Johnson has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

The University of Georgia offered a scholarship to defensive back Isaiah Johnson back in September. Johnson is a lengthy defender (6-foot-2), who would excel in Dan Lanning’s defensive scheme in Athens.

Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, Johnson has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

Johnson is a four-star recruit who is rated as a five-star on some sites.  He is a member of the class of 2021. Johnson played football at Bluefield High School in West Virginia, but recently transferred to St. Bernard High School in Playa Del Rey, California.

Johnson put the Georgia Bulldogs, Arizona State Sun Devils, USC Trojans, LSU Tigers and Oklahoma Sooners in his top five. Now, he’s headed to Tempe.

Johnson missed his junior season of high school with an ankle injury, but could be in for a big season in 2020 (if high school football is played). In fact, California high school football has already been pushed into the spring of 2021.

The Bulldogs recruiting class currently features 11 commitments. UGA has a five star and eight four stars in the talented class. Georgia’s latest commitment is Jared Wilson, who has had an odyssey of a recruiting journey.

4-star WR Xavier Worthy commits to the University of Michigan

Georgia Bulldogs football recruiting target Xavier Worthy has committed to the University of Michigan Wolverines.

The Georgia Bulldogs were among the top schools for four-star wide receiver Xavier Worthy. Unfortunately, that wasn’t enough to secure a commitment from him.

Worthy is a member of the class of 2021 and is from Fresno, California (UGA’s Kendall Milton also hails from the area). Worthy plays football for Central East High School.

Worthy has committed to the University of Michigan. He announced his commitment via Twitter:

Worthy has had some pretty sweet edits. Here’s the one he released for his top schools:

Worthy picked Michigan over UGA, Oregon, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, which made up his top six.

Worthy will be a solid addition to Michigan’s class of 2021. The Wolverines are looking to dethrone Ohio State, but have a long way to go as the Buckeyes have the top class of 2021 in the country.

The Dawgs are currently seeking a talented wide receiver to commit in the class of 2021. Kirby Smart and Georgia have solidified the offensive and defensive fronts already.

Five-star DT Maason Smith releases top schools

Five-star defensive tackle Maason Smith has released his latest list of top schools including: the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs.

Five-star defensive tackle Maason Smith has released his latest list of top schools. Smith’s list includes Georgia, LSU, Florida, Oregon, Alabama, Miami, Oklahoma, and USC.

Smith is an ultra talented recruit who plays high school football for Terrebonne in Houma, Louisiana. Smith announced his top schools via Twitter on July 4th:

Smith is one of the top remaining uncommitted recruits in the class of 2021. He’s favored to end up staying home with the LSU Tigers.

Kirby Smart and Georgia have been prioritizing recruits in the trenches in recent seasons. Smith would be an elite target to secure, but it is looking unlikely at the moment.

In the class of 2021, Georgia has one commitment at defensive tackle. Dan Lanning and the defense will probably looking for another defensive tackle in the class.

Smith is six-foot-five and weighs 316 pounds. Smith should have a bright college football career.

4-star UGA football target Xavier Worthy releases top six

Worthy tweeted his top six schools:

Worthy puts UGA, Oregon, Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, and LSU in his top schools. Where will the four-star wide receiver go?

Worthy would be a solid addition to Georgia’s class of 2021. Kirby Smart and Georgia are shaping up to have one of the more impressive recruiting classes  in the country once again.

The Dawgs are currently still seeking a talented wide receiver to commit in the class of 2021. Georgia has beefed up the offensive and defensive fronts already.

For Worthy to consider himself “The Real Flash”, then he must be a speedy receiver. The University of Georgia is continuing to select the top talent throughout the country to come to Athens.
