Kickoff time announced for Wisconsin vs Northwestern

Kickoff time announced for Wisconsin vs Northwestern:

Wisconsin sits tied atop a bunched-up Big Ten West with just four weeks remaining in the regular season.

The final stretch begins this Saturday with a trip to Bloomington, Indiana for a matchup against the 2-6 Indiana Hoosiers. A win on Saturday is crucial for the Badgers’ chances in the West, as the team can’t afford to drop another game with three West contests set to conclude the season.

The first of those final three division contests is everyone’s favorite matchup of the year: an afternoon contest against Northwestern.

That kickoff time was confirmed today: a 2:30 p.m. central kick on Fox Sports 1.

The Wildcats are a surprising 4-4 on the season and 2-3 in Big Ten play. All the numbers say the Badgers should have no trouble, but we know how these games usually go.

Notre Dame football: Kickoff time announced for Clemson game

Kickoff time is set!

When the 2023 college football season began it appeared that Notre Dame and Clemson’s date the first Saturday of November would be one of the biggest non-conference games on the entire season slate.

Fast forward to the end of October and things are significantly different.

It’s a big game for Notre Dame in that it may determine if the Irish ultimately earn an invitation to a New Year’s Six bowl game.

After losing to North Carolina State and falling to 4-4 however, it’s a game that could decide if Clemson even ends up being bowl eligible.  Clemson has Notre Dame, North Carolina, Georgia Tech, and South Carolina remaining this year.  The Tigers will have to go 2-2 in order to earn bowl eligibility which would have sounded absurd just two months ago.

As a result of Clemson’s struggles, this one-time almost surefire prime time contest will instead be a 12:00 p.m. ET kickoff next Saturday and air on ABC.

Notre Dame routed Pittsburgh 58-7 on Saturday while Clemson fell 24-17 at North Carolina State.

Wisconsin football: Kickoff time released for Badgers at Illinois Fighting Illini

Kickoff time released for Wisconsin Badgers at Illinois Fighting Illini:

Wisconsin faces a crucial test this Saturday as the 5-1 Iowa Hawkeyes travel to Madison for a contest that will likely decide the Big Ten West. The game will kick off at 3 p.m. central on FOX.

The Badgers won’t have much time for celebration if they do come out on top. Up next week is a revenge trip to Illinois, quickly followed by a season-defining contest at home against Ohio State.

Wisconsin recently announced the kickoff time for its game in Champaign, Illinois on October 21. The contest will start at 2:30 p.m. central with the television channel to-be-announced.

Wisconsin currently sits atop the Big Ten West with a 2-0 record in conference. Iowa follows at 2-1, and then the rest of the division is tied at 1-2 before Illinois’ bottom spot at 0-3.

Alabama football announces start times for remaining non-conference matchups

Alabama football has announced kick times for the remainder of the Crimson Tide’s non-conference opponents in 2023!

The 2023 season is a crucial one for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide after missing out on the playoffs last season. The Tide will face one of the toughest schedules in the country with two new coordinators and a quarterback.

Alabama already announced that their non-conference game against Texas will be in primetime at 6:00 p.m. CST on ESPN. Today, the Tide announced the kickoff times for their three remaining non-SEC games.

Middle Tennessee comes to Bryant Denny Stadium for a 6:30 p.m. kick-off under the lights on Sept. 2. Then, the Tide travel to Southern Florida for a 2:30 p.m. start against the Bulls on Sept. 19. Finally, the Tide will host Chattanooga at 11 a.m. on Nov. 18, the week leading up to the Iron Bowl.

The Longhorns will without a doubt be the toughest test for the Tide of those four games, but it is imperative Alabama doesn’t drop any games outside of SEC play. Texas gave Alabama a scare in 2022, but with it back in Tuscaloosa now, the game will be really interesting.

Ravens vs. Jaguars kickoff delayed by severe weather

Kickoff between the Jaguars and Ravens is delayed due to severe weather.

Kickoff for a Week 12 matchup between the Baltimore Ravens and Jacksonville Jaguars was delayed 25 minutes due to severe weather at TIAA Bank Field in Jacksonville, Fla.

Kickoff instead happened at 1:25 p.m. ET.

Weather forecasts projected there would be isolated thunderstorms in the early afternoon that would clear shortly after the game began. While there’s a slight delay to the start of the contest, most of the game should be played under partly cloudy conditions and temperatures in the 70s.

Heavy rain picked up just after noon in Jacksonville and fans were soon cleared from their seats with the team issuing a “Code Blue” for severe weather.

The weather alert was lifted with about 20 minutes until kickoff, but returned with about 10 minutes left until the originally scheduled game time.

Jacksonville has a 3-7 record and spent Week 11 on bye. The Ravens enter with a 7-3 record and are riding a four-game win streak.

Game time set for LSU at Arkansas in Week 11

The Tigers will have a morning kickoff in Fayetteville against the Hogs.

No matter what happens this weekend when the Alabama Crimson Tide roll into Baton Rouge, the Tigers will have to follow that up with a road trip that could be tricky against the Arkansas Razorbacks.

If LSU wins Saturday, it represents an obvious trap game. If not, it’s an opportunity for one loss to spiral into two. To make matters even more difficult, the road bout against the Hogs will be a morning kickoff at 11 a.m. CT in Fayetteville, LSU announced Monday.

The TV network for the game hasn’t been determined yet, and it could air on either ESPN or CBS.

Arkansas won this game in overtime by three points last year, snapping a five-game LSU winning streak. The Tigers will hope to start a new streak this time around and recapture the Golden Boot in Week 11.

Game time, TV network set for LSU-Ole Miss in Week 8

The Tigers will take on the Rebels in the 2:30 p.m. slot on CBS.

It may have been for the best that CBS chose not to spotlight LSU’s 40-13 loss to Tennessee on Saturday, after all.

But after a road trip to take on the Florida Gators this weekend, the Tigers will get the CBS SEC Game of the Week on Oct. 22 when they host Ole Miss. The Rebels currently rank No. 9, and if they can get by Auburn in the Grove on Saturday, they will enter that one undefeated and, likely, as a top-10 opponent.

That game will kick off at 2:30 p.m. CT.

Sitting at 4-2 with a win over Mississippi State that’s looking better by the week, things could certainly be worse for the Tigers. They underperformed in the first huge test of the [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] era, but this team will have another opportunity to earn a signature win in just a couple of weeks.

Ole Miss won this game last year in Oxford to snap a five-game losing streak to the Tigers. LSU will hope to start a new streak in Week 8.

Primetime in the Swamp: Kickoff, TV info set for LSU at Florida in Week 7

The Tigers will look for their fourth-straight win over the Gators under the lights at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

This year’s iteration of the interdivisional rivalry between Florida and LSU will take place under the lights at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.

On Monday, LSU announced that its Week 7 contest in Gainesville on Oct. 15 against the Gators will kick off at 6 p.m. CT in Gainesville. The Tigers are looking for their fourth-straight win against UF, with the last two coming in wild fashion between the Marco Wilson cleat-toss and last year’s 49-42 shootout.

It will be a matchup between first-year head coaches in [autotag]Brian Kelly[/autotag] and Billy Napier, whose team currently sits at 3-2 but has started SEC play at 0-2 with losses to Kentucky and Tennessee. Napier, who previously coached at Louisiana, will hope to get his first league win on Saturday at home against Missouri.

Meanwhile, LSU hosts No. 8 Tennessee this weekend and will look to score a signature win early in the Kelly era.

Kickoff time announced for LSU’s contest vs. Tennessee on Oct. 8

The Tigers will take on Tennessee at 11 a.m. CT in Week 6.

The Tigers won’t have the benefit of a night game at Death Valley in what could be one of the toughest matchups of the season.

On Monday, the SEC announced game times for Week 6 matchups, and LSU’s home game against Tennessee on Oct. 8 will be an 11 a.m. CT local kickoff in Baton Rouge on ESPN. Despite the fact that the Vols will likely still be ranked in the top 10 entering this game, CBS chose AuburnGeorgia and AlabamaTexas A&M for its afternoon/night doubleheader.

This will mark the first non-evening kickoff for the Tigers this season. Week 5’s contest against Auburn on Saturday is set to begin at 6 p.m.

Tennessee is coming off a big win at Neyland Stadium against Florida on Saturday, which marked just the second time UT has beaten the Gators since 2004. The Volunteers have a bye this weekend, and the Tigers are favored against Auburn. We could be setting up for a massive cross-division showdown in two weeks.

But if LSU is going to beat a red-hot Tennessee team, it may have to do so while dealing with the sluggishness that often comes from morning kickoffs.

Kickoff time for Arkansas’ game vs Mississippi State is in

Arkansas will be seeking its third straight win over the Bulldogs.

The SEC announced kickoff times for Week 6 games across the league Monday around lunchtime.

Prepare to rise early.

Arkansas and Mississippi State will play at 11 a.m. CT on SEC Network. The game is one of three kickoffs in conference play at that hour on that day.

The game is the second at that hour the Hogs have played this year. Arkansas hosted South Carolina in Week 2 from Fayetteville before lunch and won, 44-30. The Razorbacks play Alabama in Week 5 in the afternoon CBS game.

Arkansas is coming off its first loss of the season Saturday against Texas A&M, 23-21. The Hogs haven’t beaten Alabama since 2007.

On the other side, Arkansas will be seeking its third straight win over Mississippi State. Mike Leach has never beaten Sam Pittman.
