3 Keys to victory for either Cowboys, Giants to have a happy Thanksgiving

It’s all about the feet in this rematch from Week 3. @cdpiglet identifies the three most important factors for the Cowboys and the Giants.

The Dallas Cowboys did a great job of bouncing back from a bad loss in Green Bay by taking apart an 8-1 Minnesota Vikings team in every way possible. They reminded themselves and the national viewing audience what they could achieve when the entire team is clicking on all cylinders.

While Dallas fans might be disappointed about not having much time to revel in the victory, the New York Giants are probably excited to get to the next game as quickly as possible. Soundly defeated by the Detroit Lions in their own stadium, the Thanksgiving matchup gives New York a speedy chance at a reprieve.

Both teams have to refocus quickly, hopefully with as much health as possible, before fighting it out to be in second place in the NFC East with a chance at still winning the division title. Here are the keys to victory for both teams.

O’Connell, Moore’s script-writing among 3 keys to victory for Cowboys-Vikings contest

Stick to the script! But it better be a good one as Dallas needs to get early momentum according to @cdpiglet’s 3 keys to victory.

The Dallas Cowboys and Minnesota Vikings enter Week 11 with opposing impressions about how Week 10 ended. In what might have been the game of the year so far, the Vikings started off looking like 7-1 frauds. They had already lost to the Philadelphia Eagles, and were down 27-10 to the Buffalo Bills in the second half, with Kirk Cousins having thrown two interceptions. Minnesota earned a furious comeback win on the road that included a fourth-down failure, forcing a fumble and recovering for a TD, allowing a game-tying drive with under a minute on the clock and finally an overtime win.

The Cowboys flipped that script, allowing a 14-point fourth-quarter lead to evaporate, then failing on a fourth down in OT only to watch another game-winning drive by Aaron Rodgers send them home dejected. Will momentum continue the way Week 10 ended, or can the Cowboys take down the Vikings’ ship for a third straight time? Here are the keys to answering that question for Dallas and Minnesota.

Alabama’s offensive keys to victory over the Ole Miss Rebels

Can Bryce Young and the Alabama offense find their way against the Ole Miss defense?

Tomorrow afternoon’s matchup between No. 9 Alabama and No. 11 Ole Miss has a lot on the line for both teams but in different ways.

Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss are still battling for a chance to win the SEC West crown, while [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] and Alabama are playing for pride.

Alabama’s defensive front seven will need to be on their A-game tomorrow as the Rebels feature one of the most explosive rushing attacks in the country behind the two-headed monster of Quinshon Judkins and Zach Evans.

Offensively, Alabama needs to find its way and there is no better time than against a vulnerable Ole Miss defense.

Here are what I believe to be the five offensive keys to victory for [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag] and the Alabama offense:

Lions keys to victory vs. Bears in Week 10

Top Detroit Lions keys to victory vs. the Chicago Bears in Week 10

The Detroit Lions aim to get their first win streak of the 2022 season and the first road win of the Dan Campbell era when they visit the Chicago Bears in Week 10. Despite being underdogs on the road, the 2-6 Lions have the ability to beat the 3-6 Bears.

It will not be easy. Nothing ever is for Detroit, after all. But there are clear paths for how the Lions can beat the Bears and climb out of the NFC North basement thanks to tiebreakers. That’s the sort of progress everyone from fans to owner Sheila Hamp would love to see.

Will it happen? We’ll find out on Sunday. Here are a few keys to a potential Detroit win in Soldier Field.

Colts vs. Raiders: Keys to victory in Week 10

Keys to victory for Indy as they visit the Raiders in Week 10.

This week has been…interesting to say the least. The front office decided Frank Reich’s fate and fired the fifth-year head coach mid-way through the 2022 season.

Interim head coach and Colts legend, Jeff Saturday, will now take over with no college or professional coaching experience. Anybody who knows what will happen on Sunday in Las Vegas is a liar, and this team will have to shut out the noise and bounce back quickly.

The good news? Josh McDaniels and his squad are currently 2-6 on the year and have a knack for blowing games down the stretch. This will still be a challenge for this Colts team, but this mountain is not impossible to climb.

Here are the keys to victory for Jeff Saturday in his NFL coaching debut:

These 3 areas will be key to winning in Cowboys-Packers’ Week 10 tilt

How much QB maneuverability plays a role in each team’s offense is one of the key ingredients in defining Week 10 success, says @cdpiglet.

Regardless of the trade-deadline miss on bringing in another wide receiver, the Dallas Cowboys are coming off their bye week feeling really good about their situation. The team is in second place in the most competitive division the league has seen in decades.  This despite starting QB Dak Prescott missing five of the eight games.

Dallas has one of the best defenses in football, a great special team unit, a very good run game, and an improving pass game with the return of Prescott. There is no game left on the schedule this season that the Cowboys should fear, including Week 10’s Green Bay Packers and nemesis QB Aaron Rodgers.

The Packers came into 2022 with high hopes despite trading WR Davante Adams; coming off back-to-back division titles and with the back-to-back reigning MVP in Rodgers. After an 3-1 start, Green Bay has lost four straight and leave their season on the brink of collapse.

The Cowboys have their sights set on catching up to the No. 1 seed Philadelphia Eagles while the Packers are attempting to salvage the season. Here are the keys to victory in this matchup between these two storied franchises.

Alabama’s offensive keys to victory over the LSU Tigers

Keys to victory for the Alabama offense as they take on the LSU Tigers.

Tomorrow night’s matchup in Baton Rouge between the No. 6 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 10 LSU Tigers will go a long way in deciding who represents the SEC West in Atlanta for the 2022 SEC Championship.

Alabama’s road struggles this season have been well documented and the Crimson Tide will need to play a clean game in order to leave the Bayou state with a victory.

Crimson Tide head coach [autotag]Nick Saban[/autotag] believes his team has prepared the right away and has mentioned several times over the last week that it is important for the players to “attach” themselves to the right things in order to be successful.

Part of what will dictate Alabama’s success against LSU will be the Crimson Tide offense led by quarterback [autotag]Bryce Young[/autotag]. Young is still nursing a shoulder injury but appears to be doing more and more in practice which should improve the overall offensive chemistry.

All eyes will be on Young tomorrow night in Death Valley and here are what I believe to be the five offensive keys to victory for the Crimson Tide.

Colts’ keys to victory vs. Patriots in Week 9

Keys to victory for the Colts in Week 9 against the Patriots.

Coming off a heartbreaking loss at home to the Washington Commanders, the Indianapolis Colts will hit the road and head to Foxborough to take on the New England Patriots.

In terms of playoff chances, this is a must-win for Frank Reich’s squad which has been underwhelming most of this season. The Colts fired offensive coordinator Marcus Brady on Tuesday, leaving the offense entirely in Reich’s hands as he tries to turn things around.

This could be a step in the right direction as second-year quarterback Sam Ehlinger prepares to make his first start on the road.

However, beating Bill Belichick and the Patriots is no easy task. Here are the keys to victory for the Colts come Sunday:

Making themselves comfortable among 3 keys in Cowboys-Bears Week 8 tilt

Both teams have an eye on the ground game, but Dallas will need to forge ahead in order to control the flow of things, according to @CDPiglet

In their Week 7 win over Detroit, quarterback Dak Prescott was back in the saddle for the Dallas Cowboys, attempting to throw off some rust from not playing since Week 1. From the kickoff of that game to his return in Week 7, Dallas has morphed from an offensive team led by Prescott’s passing attack to a defensive juggernaut carrying a middle-of-the-pack offense.

The game against the Lions was a perfect example. Prescott only had to throw for 207 yards, the team had a 10-6 lead going into the fourth quarter. The defense ended up causing four turnovers in the fourth quarter and setting up the offense for their final 14 points.

The Chicago Bears shocked many on Monday by destroying the New England Patriots, 33-14, in Gillette Stadium. Justin Fields struggled passing the ball, in typical fashion for young QBs facing a Bill Belichick defense. Fields threw 21 times, completing just13 receptions for only 179 yards. The part nobody predicted was how the Bears ran all over the Patriots to the tune of almost 250 yards with two players averaging over five yards per carry.

How do the Cowboys establish momentum heading into the bye? Can Chicago build from Monday night and win their second straight game on the road? Here are the keys to victory for the early Sunday contest.

4 keys to victory for Commanders vs. Colts in Week 8

We pick four keys to victory for the Commanders against the Colts in Week 8.

The Washington Commanders have a chance to get back to .500 with Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts. A win over Indianapolis would be Washington’s third in a row.

It will be the second consecutive start for Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke, who is 6-3 in his previous nine starts. Meanwhile, the Colts made a quarterback change this week, turning to Sam Ehlinger to replace Matt Ryan under center.

What does Washington need to do in order to leave Indianapolis with a critical victory?

Here are four keys to victory for the Commanders in Week 8 vs. the Colts.
