Michigan State football has added another big-time prospect to their official visits guest list in June.

Four-star linebacker Kamar Mothudi has locked in an official visit to Michigan State in June. Mothudi — who hails from Valley Village, Calif. — will be visiting Michigan State on June 9.

Mothudi ranks as the No. 17 linebacker and No. 173 overall prospect in 247Sports’ rankings for the 2024 class. He holds offers from 14 programs, including Michigan State, Texas, Oregon, Washington, Utah, Arizona, Arizona State, Nebraska, Michigan, Cal and Oregon State.

Mothudi will also be taking official visits to Utah (June 2), Washington (June 17), Texas (June 20) and Oregon (June 23) in the next month. He is currently projected to end up as an Oregon Duck, according to a pair of 247Sports crystal ball projections.

Ducks pick up prediction to land elite 4-star linebacker

The Oregon Ducks are among the hottest teams in the nation on the recruiting trail, and it doesn’t look like things are going to change any time soon.

While Dan Lanning and Co. picked up three blue-chip recruits over the weekend, they’re also being projected to land another top prospect in the coming months. On Monday afternoon, Oregon picked up a Crystal Ball prediction from 247Sports analyst Greg Biggens to land 4-star LB Kamar Mothudi, one of the top LB prospects for the Ducks this cycle.

Mothudi is rated as the No. 17 LB and No. 173 overall player in the 2024 class, per 247Sports.

Mothudi has visited Eugene before, and he is scheduled to take an official visit to Oregon later in June. It would not be a shock to see his commitment come not too long after that.

Michigan State offers 4-star 2024 LB Kamar Mothudi

Michigan State football is starting their recruitment of a top-200 recruit in the 2024 class, Kamar Mothudi.

Mothudi, a linebacker out of California, has had his recruitment dominated by teams on the West coast thus far, but MSU will attempt to get in the mix next to teams like Oregon, Oregon State, Utah, and Washington, all of whom are considered to be in the lead for his recruitment at this point.
