Miami Dolphins inactives for Week 11 vs. the Bills

The Miami Dolphins are a little over an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game.

The Miami Dolphins are a little less than an hour from kickoff, and we now know which Dolphins on the 53-man roster will not be suiting up for today’s game. The Dolphins shared the inactives list just moments ago.

The inactives this week will hit hard for Miami’s defense — losing LB Raekwon McMillan and DE Taco Charlton this week are significant blows to Miami’s upset bid against the Bills. Both players aren’t blindside decisions, as each was limited all throughout the course of this week of practice and were noted on the team’s final injury report of the week.

But there was still optimism that each was not outright ruled out for the game — though that is ultimately the case. Miami’s secondary will also be tested without Ken Webster and Xavier Crawford — look for a lot of snaps for the rest of Miami’s defensive backs. That, of course, includes safety Reshad Jones, who finally returns this week after an extended absence from the field.

Jones will need to be a big presence to make up for losses elsewhere on the Dolphins defense today against the Bills.

Falcons list inactives ahead of Week 11 matchup in Carolina

Desmond Trufant is finally active after being out for the last few weeks, but Devonta Freeman and Austin Hooper are inactive due to injury.

The Atlanta Falcons have announced their inactives ahead of today’s game in Carolina against the Panthers. The team announced them as follows:

Running back Devonta Freeman was listed as out on Friday after practice missing the entire week due to a foot injury. He may not be back for another two-to-three weeks. With backup Ito Smith on injured reserve and Freeman out, the Falcons will be using a rotation of all-around back Brian Hill, power back Qadree Ollison and veteran speedster Kenjon Barner.

Austin Hooper has been having a Pro Bowl caliber season at the tight end position with his pace of nearly 1,200 yards and 10 touchdowns. His knee injury will affect this pace and keep him out a few weeks, however. The Falcons will be using Jaeden Graham and Luke Stocker as the main tight ends this week, and hopefully, they can provide some sort semblance of similar play.

Reserve safety/linebacker and special teams player Kemal Ishmael is also out this week. His role in the starting lineup has already been replaced by sliding Ricardo Allen over to strong safety and Damontae Kazee to free safety, but the Falcons should be able to easily compensate for his loss on special teams. Sharrod Neasman, Jermaine Grace and other reserve safeties will all get shots to take his ace gunner role.

Defensive linemen John Cominsky and Deadrin Senat are inactive again this week. Senat has been inactive all year. Cominsky was out last week with an injury, and he might still be dealing with the fallout from it. Wide receiver Brandon Powell and offensive lineman Matt Gono are at the bottom of the roster and were also expected to be inactive.

Lions Week 11 inactives list: Romeo Okwara OUT, Tracy Walker IN

Detroit Lions Week 11 inactives list includes EDGE rusher Romeo Okwara but does not include Tracy Walker indicating he will play today.

The Detroit Lions (3-5-1) have declared their inactives list ahead of a Week 11 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys (5-4) at Ford Field.

Let’s take a look at who is out and who is in.

Ruled Inactive by the Lions

QB Matthew Stafford (back, hip) — Ruled out Friday
RT Rick Wagner (concussion) — Ruled out Friday
DL Da’Shawn Hand (ankle) — Ruled out Friday
DE Romeo Okwara (groin)
OG Beau Benzschawel
OT Dan Skipper
CB Michael Jackson

Stafford, Wagner, and Hand were ruled out on Friday and will be replaced in the starting lineup by Jeff Driskel, Tyrell Crosby, and Mike Daniels/A’Shawn Robinson respectively.

Okwara is still hobbled with a groin injury which means the Lions will likely turn to more linebacker sets, with Christian Jones spending time on the EDGE.

The Lions offensive line is down Wagner but with Kenny Wiggins able to step in at tackle in case of injury, Skipper won’t be needed in this game. Once again healthy on the interior, Benzschawel will also sit, per usual.

Jackson is still acclimating to the Lions scheme and will be inactive for another week.

Cowboys inactives

The Cowboys will be without their starting left the guard in Connor Williams and starting safety — and local Michigan native — Jeff Heath.

WR Cedrick Wilson
WR Devin Smith
S Jeff Heath
LG Connor Williams
DE Joe Jackson
LB Luke Gifford
DT Trysten Hill
