Every Taylor Swift Grammy nomination for 2024, including 1 potential record-breaker

Swift has a chance to add to her impressive collection on Sunday evening.

It was undeniably the year of Taylor Swift in 2023 as the singer-songwriter launched her record-setting Eras Tour, broke box-office records with Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour movie and was swept up in a whirlwind romance with new boyfriend Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Her 10th studio album, Midnights, was eligible for the 2023 Grammy Awards, taking place on February 4. The 12-time Grammy winner picked up six more nominations, including a one that could break an impressive record.

Swift has won Album of the Year three times — Fearless, 1989 and folklore — putting her in a three-way tie with the iconic Frank Sinatra and Stevie Wonder. A win for Midnights would put her in a class all her own.

Here are all the nominations for Taylor Swift at Sunday’s Grammy Awards.

2024 Grammy nominations: 8 snubs (including Morgan Wallen), according to Twitter

Cover your eyes, music fans. Some huge names were snubbed.

The list of nominees for the 2024 Grammy Awards was released on Friday ahead of the February 4 at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Next year’s list of nominees includes some stellar artists that fans might enjoy, including newcomer Victoria Monet, the War and Treaty, SZA, Miley Cyrus and Phoebe Bridgers.

The list also gives some significant recognition to the Barbie soundtrack. The wildly successful film is up for 11 nominations, including Record Of Year and Song Of Year.

Many in the music industry consider the highly coveted recognition a massive honor. But, as with many awards, there are snubs. Music fans took to X (formally known as Twitter) to voice their displeasure.

Here’s a list of some of the notables that people are buzzing about:

Quavo’s incredible tribute to Takeoff led this year’s powerful Grammys ‘In Memoriam’ segment

Wow, this tribute got us a little misty.

One of the most incredible moments at this year’s Grammy Awards was a deeply moving tribute to late Migos member Takeoff performed by Quavo, his former groupmate and uncle.

Quavo performed his song “Without You” that he shared some time after Takeoff’s death last fall. Contemporary worship group Maverick City Music joined Quavo onstage for the performance and added in lyrics from the Wiz Khalifa/Charlie Puth Furious 7 tearjerker “See You Again.”

For those still in shock over the hip-hop titan’s tragic death, the performance helped illuminate why the Grammys continue to knock it out of the park with the show’s annual In Memoriam segments.

Even if you’re only somewhat familiar with Migos, it’s hard not to get swept up in your emotions over this deeply moving tribute.

Kacey Musgraves also paid homage to late country icon Loretta Lynn during the ceremony in this moving performance of “Coal Miner’s Daughter.”

We also got a beautiful tribute from Mick Fleetwood, Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt for late Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie. They played Fleetwood Mac’s “Songbird” in McVie’s honor.

Also, don’t worry if you were worried if the In Memoriam segment left out late Foo Fighters drummer Taylor Hawkins. The Grammys honored his life during last year’s ceremony.

5 great things about the 2023 Grammys, including Lizzo, Harry Styles and that astonishing hip-hop tribute

Lizzo! 50 years of hip-hop! Harry Styles!

The 2023 Grammys have come and gone, leaving everyone with plenty of Beyoncé takes, new Ben Affleck memes and stellar performances to rewatch over and over again.

The night’s biggest moments featured Beyoncé both becoming the most-decorated artist in Grammy history and controversially losing the Best Album honor for a fourth time. Queen Bey was also late to the show because she was stuck in Los Angeles traffic.

The show also featured some hilarious Ben Affleck clips, some incredible tribute performances and great little moments like Adele meeting Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson.

The Grammys always land with a bang and leave plenty of people both amazed and frustrated.

Rather than dwell on the negative, let’s break down five great things about this year’s installment.

Beyoncé losing Best Album for a fourth time at the Grammys had fans absolutely outraged

Beyoncé got snubbed for Best Album … again.

The Grammys are known for stirring up controversy with their Best Album picks, and this year’s was certainly no exception.

Rather than finally reward music megastar Beyoncé with her first Best Album award, the Recording Academy opted for British pop star Harry Styles and his album Harry’s House.

While Styles’ album earned lots of love and got plenty of airplay, Beyoncé’s unfortunate history with the Grammys’ top category resurfaced after her fourth loss in the category.

She was also nominated for groundbreaking works like 2008’s I Am… Sasha Fierce, 2013’s self-titled Beyoncé and 2016’s Lemonade.

While Beyoncé became the Grammys’ most-awarded artist of all time on Sunday night, she still couldn’t take home the show’s top honor for her 2022 album Renaissance.

It’s a bit like how the Academy Awards didn’t give Martin Scorsese the Best Directing Oscar until 2006’s The Departed. You just home the Recording Academy won’t wait that long to recognize Beyoncé for the top Grammy out there.

Let’s just say there were some folks who were not happy about Beyoncé’s latest Best Album snub.

Ben Affleck looking like he did not want to be at the Grammys became a hilarious meme

Oh no, Ben Affleck is sad again!

Ben Affleck really did not look like he wanted to be at the Grammys on Sunday night.

One of the internet’s most memeable actors, Mr. Jennifer Lopez showed up to support his wife during the biggest night for music on the calendar. However, the cameras showed Affleck having less than an amazing time.

Sad Affleck is not a new sensation for people, but having to sit through a free concert/awards show really isn’t high on the list of things for anyone to be sad about.

Like, c’mon, it’s the Grammys! It’s not a fourth-grade recorder concert. Have some fun, Ben!

Well, Affleck might’ve perked up more as the night went on and more artists he actually enjoys took the stage. Maybe he really just wanted to get home and watch replays of the Pro Bowl Games. Who’s to say?

At the very least, Affleck did not look thrilled at the top of the show. Of course, the internet created a new “Sad Affleck” meme out of this.
