Ben Affleck’s brilliant Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl 58 ad with Tom Brady inspired lots of love (and jokes)

DUNKINGS

While he won’t necessarily get a Lombardi, Ben Affleck might’ve already won Super Bowl 58.

In what’s one of the best Super Bowl advertisements in ages, Affleck reunited with Dunkin’ Donuts for a hysterical commercial in which he makes a boy band called the DunKings.

The advertisement features Affleck’s wife Jennifer Lopez looking very unamused by the DunKings, a music act that features Affleck, Tom Brady and a very apologetic Matt Damon.

While we’re not at all expecting a DunKings album anytime soon, you can get the DunKings Iced Coffee at Dunkin starting on Monday morning.

This ad really has everything, and you have to watch it.

Seriously, does it get better than this?

Affleck has been one of Dunkin’ Donuts best spokespeople as of late, and this Super Bowl 58 commercial might be his best collaboration with the doughnut brand yet.

Everyone loved this commercial and a few really good jokes emerged.

Brie Larson and Jennifer Lopez had the sweetest reaction to meeting each other at the Golden Globes

Well, this was a cool sight to see.

You never know how you’re going to react when you meet someone you admire, and actor Brie Larson couldn’t believe it when she had the chance to meet actor and musician Jennifer Lopez at the 2024 Golden Globes.

While talking with Entertainment Tonight on the Golden Globes red carpet, Larson met Lopez and became overwhelmed with emotion at the chance encounter, as was Lopez at Larson’s reaction.

It’s not often you get to see such a human reaction like this on something as formal as an awards show red carpet, but this interaction between Larson and Lopez really did hit the mark for tugging at the heartstrings.

Wow, this really was quite a meeting at this year’s Golden Globes, wasn’t it?

Who knows, maybe this moment will spark Larson and Lopez to work together on a film or television project sometime in the future. We know we’d be there on opening weekend to see how that project would turn out.

Ben Affleck’s Dunkin’ Donuts Super Bowl commercial inspired some hilarious jokes

Ben Affleck looked SO HAPPY.

Three things in life are constant: death, taxes and Ben Affleck jokes.

After Affleck looked absolutely miserable during last week’s Grammys ceremony, the Oscar-winning actor/filmmaker looked positively delighted as he starred in a Super Bowl commercial for Dunkin’ Donuts.

In the advertisement, Affleck shows everyone his side hustle as a Dunkin’ drive-thru cashier, much to the surprise of the doughnut chain’s customers. Jennifer Lopez makes a cameo at the end of the ad, joining in on the shock of her husband’s other gig.

Affleck’s love for Dunkin’ has always inspired the internet, and this Super Bowl commercial already looks like it’s going to be a hit.

That Medford, Massachusetts Dunkin’ undoubtedly will get plenty of business in wake of Affleck’s advertisement.

It’s a big Super Bowl for Affleck, with his next directorial effort Air and his possibly final performance as Bruce Wayne/Batman in The Flash getting Super Bowl commercials, too.

However, the focus is on Affleck’s joy in working as a Dunkin’ employee. The internet came ready with jokes.

Ben Affleck looking like he did not want to be at the Grammys became a hilarious meme

Oh no, Ben Affleck is sad again!

Ben Affleck really did not look like he wanted to be at the Grammys on Sunday night.

One of the internet’s most memeable actors, Mr. Jennifer Lopez showed up to support his wife during the biggest night for music on the calendar. However, the cameras showed Affleck having less than an amazing time.

Sad Affleck is not a new sensation for people, but having to sit through a free concert/awards show really isn’t high on the list of things for anyone to be sad about.

Like, c’mon, it’s the Grammys! It’s not a fourth-grade recorder concert. Have some fun, Ben!

Well, Affleck might’ve perked up more as the night went on and more artists he actually enjoys took the stage. Maybe he really just wanted to get home and watch replays of the Pro Bowl Games. Who’s to say?

At the very least, Affleck did not look thrilled at the top of the show. Of course, the internet created a new “Sad Affleck” meme out of this.

How Jennifer Lopez’s love life might be a sign of another Tom Brady Super Bowl win

And every heartbreak was a yellow brick road. Pointing straight to a Super Bowl.

For most of the 21st century, Tom Brady and Jennifer Lopez have acted as two icons of their domains.

Brady, of course, is perhaps the greatest quarterback in NFL history, still dropping jokes about his underdog story to this day. Lopez, meanwhile, is mostly an unparalleled pop singing sensation and actress. But it’s Brady who should take cues from Lopez’s love life if he wants to know how the rest of his pro football career (2030 end date? 2040?) ends.

Last Saturday, according to CNN, Lopez married her long-time beau, actor Ben Affleck. While it was undoubtedly a beautiful ceremony reaffirming a strong bond between two human beings and all those saccharine developments — the marriage itself could be a harbinger for another Brady Super Bowl title.

You see, Brady has won a championship, in some form, in each of the last three instances Lopez has walked the aisle:

When Lopez married Ojani Noa in 1997, Brady’s Michigan Wolverines took home the College Football national title. A few years later, in 2001, during Brady’s first year as an NFL starter, Lopez remarried, this time to Cris Judd. Brady and the Patriots went on to take home their first Super Bowl.

Finally, when Lopez and Marc Anthony made vows in 2004, Brady’s Patriots finished the only Super Bowl repeat in the approximate quarter century. Ho-hum.

If Lopez tying the knot with Affleck in 2022 says anything meaningful about football, it means Brady might win ring No. 8 come February 2023. Odds makers with Tipico Sportsbook currently have the Buccaneers at +700 to win Super Bowl 57. That is second only to the juggernaut Buffalo Bills (+600).

It looks like Lopez’s love does actually cost a thing: A Super Bowl ring for a future Hall of Fame quarterback.
