2021 Georgia football recruiting class review: QB Brock Vandagriff

Reviewing the 2021 Georgia football recruiting class, continuing with QB Brock Vandagriff

Brock Vandagriff is one of the most exciting recruits Georgia has in this 2021 class. He is the top rated quarterback that Georgia has gained a commitment from since… well you know.

Standing at 6-foot-3, 205 pounds, Vandagriff currently attends Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia. He committed to UGA on January 21st, 2020 over schools such as Oklahoma, Alabama, Penn State, and LSU.

Vandagriff is such an intriguing QB prospect because, like Justin Fields, he has the capability of standing in the pocket, carving up defenses, putting his head down and picking up yards with his legs. Because of his versatility, he earned the honors of National High School Quarterback of the Year.

247 Sports has him rated as a 5-star prospect and the third-best QB (2nd dual-threat) of 2021. He is marked as the second-best recruit from the state of Georgia, right behind fellow Dawg OT Amarius Mims.
