Amarius Mims is a massive 6-foot-7, 315-pound offensive tackle. He currently attends Bleckley County High School in Cochran, Georgia and is rated as the top prospect for the ’21 Georgia class by 247 Sports and Rivals.

ESPN ranks him as the second-best UGA prospect, behind Smael Mondon.

247 Sports has him graded very highly. According to 247, Mims is ranked as the 7th best overall recruit in the 2021 class and the third-best offensive tackle. He is also graded as the top recruit in the state of Georgia.

ESPN ranks Mims as the 20th best overall recruit, while Rivals has him as the 4th overall. Not only that, but 247 has him as the 188th best recruit of all time, which puts him higher than stars like WR Keenan Allen (205), RB Willis McGahee (211), TE Greg Olsen (225) and QB Spencer Rattler (237), to name a few.

Mims committed to Georgia on October 14th, 2020. He chose the Dawgs over other major schools such as Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Florida State, and LSU.

Georgia football extends offer to 2022 athlete

2022 Athlete prospect DeMario Tolan receives an offer from the University of Georgia football team

Late Thursday night, 2022 football prospect DeMario Tolan took to Twitter to announce that he has received a scholarship offer from the University of Georgia.

Tolan stands at 6’3, 205 pounds. He attends school at Tohopekaliga High School in Kissimmee, Florida. He is currently unranked on 247 Sports. Tolan has received offers from many different division 1 schools, including Florida State, Miami, LSU, Ole Miss, and Texas A&M.

Tolan plays primarily at the linebacker position in high school, but he can get on the edge and rush the quarterback as well. Expect Tolan to continue to grow and find a role that would suit him at the college position.

Tolan would make a great addition to the 2022 Georgia recruiting class – only time will tell if he will accept the offer.
