Jon Buscemi, a West Coast street-fashion icon, has partnered up with FootJoy.
Jon Buscemi, a West Coast street-fashion icon, has partnered up with FootJoy to put his unique spin on the company’s Tour-proven Premiere Series. This collaboration will debut at The Players Championship and defending champion Justin Thomas — along with other FootJoy players — will be putting the new shoe into competition.
The new design will be referred to as, “The Player’s Shoe,” for not only the timing of the release, but how it is designed for competitive play. The shoe is made with full-grain leather from Pittards that will not stretch with wear. The calfskin leather aids in detailing and delivers the Premiere’s iconic style.
FJ’s VersaTrax+ anti-channeling technology is engineered to have unmatched performance on the course. The shoe comes with Pulsar LP cleats by Softspikes that deliver no-slip grip from the second your feet hit the grass. The Premiere Series shoe comes with a two-year waterproof warranty.

Whether you’ve just picked up the game or you’re able to shoot lower than your age, a golf glove is one the most essential and affordable pieces of equipment most golfers utilize.
Golf gloves allow you to better control the club, but to get the full benefit of a glove, you need one that fits properly. Before we get into the following list of gloves to try, here are a few tips and tricks to know you’re getting the right one.
First, a good golf glove should be tight. When your hand is spread naturally, the velcro tab should reach to the halfway point of the velcro on the other side across the back of your hand. With time, you’ll break in the glove and the velcro will reach all the way across. If the glove rides too far up your wrist, try a cadet size made for hands with shorter fingers and wider palms.
If you play a lot, especially in the summer, buy in bulk to keep your gloves fresh. Pro tip: Hang a glove on your cart or bag to air out between shots. And if you want a glove to last longer, never leave it in the hot and humid trunk of your car between rounds.
The list below has options for every budget and handicap, and even includes where to buy.

Golfweek has put together our top picks for the best golf shoes of 2022.
For the weekend warrior getting in a post-work evening nine to the group who is always first on the tee sheet, every handicap needs a pair of reliable golf shoes.
With that in mind, Golfweek has put together our top picks for the best golf shoes of 2022.
Golfers pay close attention to the kinds of irons they use and how all their clubs fit their swing, but shoes can be just as important. Ground force is one of the biggest factors in distance and having the right pair of shoes can help you hit bombs in all weather conditions.

FootJoy’s sporty new Fuel offers all-day comfort with spikeless traction to keep golfers firmly in place when they swing.
Gear: FootJoy Fuel golf shoes Price: Men’s: $129.99 (laced)/$159.99 (BOA). Women’s: $119.99 (laced)/$149.99 (BOA) Specs: Spikeless, waterproof shoes available in four colorways for men in sizes 7-15 and three colorways for women in sizes 5-11.
For the past 76 seasons, the most-played shoes on the PGA Tour have been FootJoy. With a stable of offerings that includes the classic-looking Premiere Series, the athletic HyperFlex and the do-it-all FootJoy Pro/SL, that streak is going to be tough to stop. Numerous golfers on the LPGA Tour also wear FootJoy.
For 2022, FootJoy is offering a new shoe for both men and women, the Fuel, which combines traction elements with comfort technologies and a sporty sneaker style. Will Zalatoris, Max Homa and newly signed FootJoy staff player Jessica Korda will wear the Fuel regularly in 2022.
With a rounded toe and a full fit across the forefoot and instep, the Fuel was designed to be comfortable right out of the box and a shoe that golfers can walk in all day. To compliment that shape, FootJoy added a new compound called StratoLite foam in the midsole to provide extra lightweight cushioning.
To ensure your feet do not slip, FootJoy designed the Fuel with scores of small traction elements in the sole and a piece called a Power Stabilizer in the forefoot. The Power Stabilizer extends slightly beyond the outside of the upper to provide a more-stabile platform for your swing
The Fuel has a synthetic leather upper that is waterproof, and the shoes come with a one-year waterproof warranty.
The women’s version of the Fuel has all the features and technologies designed into the men’s shoe, but they are designed to fit a woman’s foot shape.
Both the men’s and women’s Fuel is available in a laced version as well as a version with the laceless BOA system that allows golfers to turn a small dial behind their heel to tighten the shoe and create a customized fit.
Want to extend your golf season a little longer? Here are a few new things to consider if you live where it’s cold.
With autumn leaves falling fast in New England and bomb cyclones pummeling the Pacific Coast with wind and rain, staying warm and dry on the course is getting tricky for golfers in many parts of the country.
Cold weather does a few things that can diminish your performance on the course. First, according to Titleist, a shot hit on a 50-degree day will fly three percent less far than it will at 70 degrees because colder air is thicker. So, your 200-yard shot will only fly 194. The bigger factor, however, is that adding sweaters, jackets and other insulating layers designed to keep you warm usually restricts your range of motion, so you swing slower. That will take even more yards off your shots.
Smart golfers are always on the lookout for apparel and accessories that can keep you warm and dry without hindering your swing. Here are a few new things to consider if you live where it’s cold and want to extend your season a little longer.

A list of our favorite gloves for every budget and preference in 2021
Although often overlooked, golf gloves are an important piece of equipment because your hands are your connection to the club. If your glove is poorly fit, has holes in it or does not supply you with the grip and traction you need, you’ll wind up making compensations and altering your swing.
On the other hand (sorry, we couldn’t resist), the right glove can enhance grip, reduce friction, prevent blisters and improve your swing.
Most golfers wear a glove on only their non-dominant hand, but sometimes a pair is necessary for wet or frigid conditions.
While most gloves look the same to the naked eye, there’s a wide range in quality and material, varying from natural leather to synthetic fabrics.
With the lion’s share of golf gloves falling in the $15-$25 range, we’ve identified 10 of the best gloves for any budget and handicap in 2021.

FootJoy announces a golf footwear and apparel collaboration with world renowned menswear designer, Todd Snyder.
FootJoy this week will announce a footwear and apparel collaboration with menswear designer Todd Snyder.
Snyder has worked for major brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Gap Inc., J. Crew and more. His eponymous brand, Todd Snyder, launched its first menswear collection in 2011 at major retailers and has inspired fashion-forward menswear since.
Snyder has put together a capsule collection of polos, windbreakers, cardigans, shorts, joggers, caps and golf shoes with a modern twist to complement classic FootJoy style. Built upon FootJoy’s 164-year history with performance, quality and innovation, the new line debuts Thursday.
Snyder grew up across the street from the Ballard Golf & Country Club in Huxley, Iowa, where he frequently would sneak onto the course after hours to get in some practice. With expertise in style for the modern gentleman in high-end apparel, transitioning into the golf fashion world was not a big jump for Snyder. The designer saw golf as an avenue to spend time with family and friends, and the emotion of nostalgia can be seen through his capsule.
“When I was little, I caddied for my dad and my grandpa,” Snyder said. “I never had golf shoes until I was big enough to wear my dad’s, and he wore FootJoy. So, I associate them with family time and comfort. I still remember how comfortable my dad’s shoes were.”
The FootJoy X Todd Snyder Premiere Series Shoe utilizes lightweight materials and proprietary VersaTrax+ traction technology. The shoe has a leather, waterproof ChromoSkin and ortholite footbed with a molded heel cup using ECO plush-foam technology for maximum comfort. The shoe is available in two colorways: white pebble grain with either a navy or olive quarter.
Inspired by the vintage style of golf icons from the ’60s, Snyder created a sleeveless cardigan. The cardigan has a soft cotton-cashmere blend and allows for an effortless swing without restriction.
“I was looking in the FootJoy archives at pictures of Arnold Palmer and Chi-Chi Rodriguez, and recognized this moment before performance fabrics took over when players had this effortless cool aesthetic that felt very relevant to right now,” Snyder said. “We are excited to collaborate with FootJoy on a wardrobe inspired by that golden era of golf, but for today’s well-dressed man who wants to maintain his unique personal style when he hits the golf course.”
All things considered, I’m pretty bad at golf. I’m alright at putt putt. I can do a bit of damage at Top Golf.
But with actual golf? That’s a struggle. So, naturally, we put my skills to the test on the latest episode of Special Delivery and things ended up pretty terribly. But that’s exactly why we brought FootJoy on the show.
The Special Delivery crew talks to FootJoy’s Keith Duffy about their brand new HyperFlex shoe that should help even a novice improve their golf game. We talk to Duffy about the shoe’s build, what it’s specifications are, how it helps improve your golf game and what inspired it.
