Colts vs. Steelers: NFL experts make Week 12 picks

NFL experts make their Week 12 picks for the matchup between the Colts and Steelers.

The Indianapolis Colts (4-6-1) are set for a prime-time matchup hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers (3-7) on Monday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

While Vegas believes the Colts are slight home favorites for the matchup, the experts and analysts around the league may not share the same view.

Here’s how the experts see this game going down in Week 12:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable) Link
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Colts 24-20 Link
Jarrett Bell (USA TODAY) Steelers 27-23 Link
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Steelers 24-21 Link
Mike Clay (ESPN) N/A Link
Dan Graziano (ESPN) N/A Link
Gregg Rosenthal (NFL Network) Steelers 21-17 Link
Bill Bender (Sporting News) Steelers 23-19 Link
Pete Prisco (CBS Sports) Colts 20-19 Link
Cam DaSilva (Sportsbook Wire) Colts Link
Bleacher Report Colts 23-20 Link

Over at Tallysight, 58% of the analysts are siding with the Colts to win this game. In a matchup that features two poor offenses and solid defenses, it’s a game that could come down to the last drive.

The Colts have lost four of their last five games while the Steelers have lost three of their last four. As both teams continue down a path toward a premium draft pick in 2023, there’s a good chance this winds up being a one-score game.

Expert picks for Cardinals-49ers Monday night game

Check out what writers from Cards Wire, Niners Wire and AZCentral believe will happen in the game Monday night.

The Arizona Cardinals and San Francisco 49ers face each other tonight on Monday Night Football. It is technically a home game for the Cardinals but it is not being played at State Farm Stadium.

It is the final international game of the season for the NFL, being played in Estadio Azteca in Mexico City.

The Cardinals are 4-6 and coming off a 27-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams. Kyler Murray is injured and will miss his second straight game, which means Colt McCoy will start against the 5-4 49ers, who are the current No. 7 seed in the NFC.

The 49ers are favored in this game. Who will win?

Below are expert picks from the staff at Cards Wire, Niners Wire managing editor Kyler Madson and AZCentral Sports beat writer Bob McManaman.

NFL Week 11 picks: Who the experts are taking in Commanders vs. Texans

This time around, the experts overwhelmingly favor the Commanders. Is that a good thing?

The Washington Commanders were the big-time underdog one week ago. The Commanders were 4-5, heading on the road in prime time to face the unbeaten Philadelphia Eagles — a team that dominated them two months before.

Everyone picked Philadelphia to win. Well, except former Washington quarterback Alex Smith.

As you know, the Commanders dominated the Eagles, winning 32-21. The Eagles still had a chance to win late, but Washington’s defense kept coming up with big stops, and a defensive penalty aided the Commanders to seal the victory.

The Commanders are favored against the Texans in Week 11. And the experts agree, with 90% of the expert pickers going with Washington to defeat Houston, per NFL Pick Watch. It’s not often the Commanders are favored.

How will they respond?

Both head coach Ron Rivera and defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio have preached the message all week not to overlook the Texans. Del Rio noted how the Commanders were disrespected last week, and you see how they responded. He cautioned that it is the Texans this week.

This is a major test for Washington. The playoff-hopeful Commanders cannot afford to lose in Week 11.

Colts vs. Eagles: NFL experts make Week 11 picks

Here are the expert picks from around the league for the Week 11 matchup between the Colts and Eagles.

The Indianapolis Colts (4-5-1) pulled off an upset in their most recent game and will be looking to do so again when they host the Philadelphia Eagles (8-1) at Lucas Oil Stadium on Sunday.

Taking on the team that’s tied with the best record in football is no easy task, but these Colts under interim head coach Jeff Saturday showed plenty of fight in their first game together. Now, they have an extremely tall task of upsetting the Eagles at home.

Here’s how the experts around the league view this game shaking out:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable) Link
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Eagles 30-17 Link
Jarrett Bell (USA TODAY) Eagles 27-22 Link
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Eagles 27-20 Link
Mike Clay (ESPN) Eagles Link
Dan Graziano (ESPN) Eagles Link
Gregg Rosenthal (NFL Network) Eagles 27-13 Link
Bill Bender (Sporting News) Eagles 27-20 Link
Pete Prisco (CBS Sports) Eagles 27-24 Link
Cam DaSilva (Sportsbook Wire) Eagles Link
Bleacher Report Eagles 24-14 Link

Over at Tallysight, 96% of the analysts who submitted picks are siding with the Eagles to win the matchup.

Even after the Colts came away with a win against the Las Vegas Raiders on the road in Week 10, it’s difficult to logically pick them to win this game. Anything can happen in the NFL as we saw Monday night when the Eagles lost to the Washington Commanders.

However, it should be no surprise that the Colts are overwhelming underdogs in this matchup. We’ll see if they can overcome those odds to pull off another pretty big upset this season.

SEC editors lay out their picks for Week 12

Who has the upper hand this week with our expert picks from College Wire’s SEC editorial team?

The SEC Championship game on Dec. 3 is already set in stone with the LSU Tigers and Georgia Bulldogs locked into the matchup. The Tigers’ victory over Arkansas along with Ole Miss’ loss to Alabama gave the Tigers the SEC West title.

This week’s slate of games is more about teams working on getting to bowl eligibility or trying to keep their College Football Playoff hopes alive. There are a total of 10 games in the SEC with four of them coming as conference matchups.

Arkansas is looking to secure their bowl bid as the Rebels come to Fayetteville. Tennessee heads to South Carolina, Kentucky will host Georgia, and the Gators head to Nashville to take on Vanderbilt.

As usual, our SEC editorial team made their picks in each of the 10 games on the Week 12 schedule.

Can Arkansas get back into the win column against Kiffin and the Rebels?

Expert picks and predictions for Cardinals-Rams in Week 10

We take a look at the predictions for Cardinals-Rams from experts from Cards Wire, Rams Wire and AZCentral Sports.

The Arizona Cardinals take on the Los Angeles Rams Sunday afternoon at SoFi Stadium. It is a game of two teams trying to right the ship before it gets too late. The Rams are 3-5 and the Cardinals are 3-6. Both teams have injury issues on the offensive line and their starting quarterbacks are both questionable for the game.

Both teams need a win badly.

How will it go?

Below, we have our expert picks and predictions from the Cards Wire staff, from Rams Wire managing editor Cam DaSilva and also the AZCentral Sports staff from their preview video.

Colts vs. Raiders: NFL experts make Week 10 picks

The experts made their Week 10 picks between the Colts and Raiders.

The Indianapolis Colts (3-5-1) will be looking to get back on track after dropping their third consecutive game as they visit the Las Vegas Raiders (2-6) at Allegiant Stadium.

This Week 10 matchup features two of the worst teams in the AFC. The Raiders are in last place in the AFC West while the Colts are technically in second place but are three games under .500.

Here’s how the experts around the league view this matchup shaking out:

Expert Pick Score (if applicable) Link
Nate Davis (USA TODAY) Raiders 27-23 Link
Jarrett Bell (USA TODAY) Raiders 27-16 Link
Lorenzo Reyes (USA TODAY) Raiders 25-7 Link
Mike Clay (ESPN) Raiders Link
Dan Graziano (ESPN) Raiders Link
Gregg Rosenthal (NFL Network) Raiders 24-19 Link
Bill Bender (Sporting News) Raiders 27-18 Link
Pete Prisco (CBS Sports) Raiders 28-19 Link
Cam DaSilva (Sportsbook Wire) Raiders Link
Bleacher Report Raiders 26-21 Link

Over at Tallysight, 84% of the analysts are siding with the Raiders to take the win while 62% of them believe the Raiders will cover the spread.

It isn’t really a surprise that experts and analysts are siding with the Raiders even with how poorly they’ve played this season. The Colts are a dysfunctional franchise right now following Jim Irsay’s impulsive decision to hire Jeff Saturday as interim head coach.

The Raiders aren’t in much of a better situation, though. New head coach Josh McDaniels has struggled to get his team going as they hold down the basement in the AFC West.

This is most likely going to be a low-scoring affair between two teams competing for a premium pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
