While there is a lot of movement on the coaching front for the LSU Tigers, they have recently started to pick up some momentum on the recruiting front.
Two targets released their top schools just two weeks from the early signing period. Trevor Etienne of Jennings, Louisiana, and DJ Wesolak of Boonville, Missouri. Both would be welcomed additions to the Tigers 2022 class. Currently, LSU does not have a running back commit, and in-state product Etienne could step right in.
Wesolak would also be the only commitment to the class from his position. With the losses of Ali Gaye and Andre Anthony, the team will need to get production out of the position from somewhere. They do have Maason Smith and BJ Ojulari, but they will be relatively young at the position without a potential transfer.
