UGA football offers pair of 2025 prospects

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered scholarships to a pair of class of 2025 recruits: Blake Woodby and Armondo Blount.

The Georgia Bulldogs have offered scholarships to a pair of class of 2025 recruits. Both are rising sophomores in high school and are unranked due to their young ages.

The Dawgs extended an offer to defensive line recruit Armondo Blount on May 23. Blount plays high school football for Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The 6-foot-3, 230-pound defensive linemen is an excellent student with over 20 scholarship offers. Blount’s scholarship offers include Oregon, Oklahoma, Missouri, Penn State and Tennessee.

Blount is strong and also participates in track and field. As a freshman, Blount is already putting up impressive numbers in shot put.

Blount played the 2021 high school football season alongside four-star Miami signee Nyjalik Kelly. Additionally, per 247Sports, Blount recorded 13 sacks as a true freshman.

UGA offers blazing fast RB Christopher Johnson

Christopher Johnson has the second-fastest time in the 200-meters event in the country.

There are not many people in the country faster than 2023 running back recruit Christopher Johnson. The three-star running back prospect plays football for Dillard High School in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Johnson also runs track for Dillard. He is the second-fastest runner of the 200-meters event in the country with a time of 20.73 seconds. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound athlete has offers from Buffalo, USF, Syracuse, Rutgers, and more.

Johnson was committed to Rutgers, but decommitted the day Georgia offered him. Georgia defensive backs coach Fran Brown is very familiar with the Dillard High School speedster.

Christopher Johnson shows off his impressive speed and acceleration on tape. It will be interesting to see if his recruitment begins to pick up after receiving an offer from Georgia.
