Ben Stiller returns as Hal L for ‘Happy Gilmore 2’ with Adam Sandler

My fingers hurt.

Everyone’s favorite nursing home employee is back.

Images were released recently from the set of “Happy Gilmore 2,” which began filming in September. The long-awaited sequel from Adam Sandler’s original movie from 1996 will debut in 2025 on Netflix, and it features plenty of familiar faces from nearly three decades ago.

One of those is Ben Stiller, who played “Hal L,” the orderly in the nursing home where Happy’s grandmother is staying. Hal’s character isn’t so innocent, though, as grandma finds out quickly in the first movie.

The plot hasn’t been released for “Happy Gilmore 2” yet, but with the released photos, Stiller is back as Hal.

You’re in my world now, grandma.

Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller were as angry as all Knicks fans after the incredible Tyrese Maxey shot

Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller represented all of New York on this play.

76ers star guard Tyrese Maxey hit an unbelievable shot against the Knicks that devastated New York fans, including Tracy Morgan and Ben Stiller.

Many former players and celebrities attended this crucial game at Madison Square Garden. While the improbable Philadelphia comeback shocked comedian Jon Stewart (who later had a hilarious tweet about it), none seemed angrier after Maxey’s heroics than Morgan and Stiller.

Take a look at the replay of Maxey’s celebration and see if you can spot the pure rage and vitriol from Morgan, the comedian who is widely known for his work on 30 Rock:

In case you didn’t catch Morgan’s rage in the video above, perhaps a screenshot will help.

Morgan seemed genuinely upset at Maxey and even gave him a middle finger:

But sitting next to Morgan was Stiller, the Emmy Award-winning actor and comedian.

Take a look again and this time just focus on Stiller, who manifested his anger in a much different way:

After the game, like Stewart did, Stiller tweeted out his respect for Maxey.

He also predicted that the Knicks will finish the series up in Philadelphia.

Russell Wilson’s new workout routine had everyone making the same Heavyweights joke

Russell Wilson found some Perkis Power with his latest workout routine.

Denver Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson won’t have his lunch cancelled due to a lack of hustle.

The quarterback posted a video on Saturday of his offseason training regiment, opening with a very familiar side-to-side motion workout.

If Wilson’s gliding exercise look at all recognizable, it’s because it’s roughly the exact same one that Tony Perkis (Ben Stiller) used in Heavyweights as part of his Perkis System workout plan.

In the movie, Perkis has the campers of Camp Hope hop on the slide boards and glide along with him as they fumble around on the bizarre-looking exercise.

Is the Broncos quarterback channeling Perkis Power and borrowing from one of the funniest camp movies ever, or is this just a hilarious slide board coincidence?

Warning: NSFW language

Wilson’s workout really does look like Heavyweights. Like it’s uncanny.

As you can imagine, the internet couldn’t not breakout the wonderful Heavyweights jokes. Forgive us the repetition, but it’s just too hilarious that everyone made the exact same joke.

The Average Joes are back as a Dodgeball sequel is officially in the works

Get ready, Dodgeball fans. A sequel to the 2004 sports comedy is in early development.

Movie fans can prepare to once again dodge, duck, dip, dive and dodge.

Deadline reported on Thursday that a sequel to the beloved sports comedy Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story is in the works.

Actor Vince Vaughn will return to star in the sequel as Peter LaFleur, the Average Joe’s gym owner who leads a ragtag dodgeball team to a national tournament to save their workout establishment from the grips of the evil Globo Gym owner White Goodman (Ben Stiller).

The original film came out in 2004 and grossed $168.4 million as a summer hit.

Deadline reports that only Vaughn and a writer (Jordan VanDina, who wrote the 2020 comedy The Binge) are attached to the project at the moment.

Plot details aren’t yet known, but Dodgeball fans can rest assured that there will be plenty of laughs (and dodgeball action) in store.

No release date is yet known, but fans can probably expect the sequel to hit the dodgeball court sometime in the next couple of years.

Just don’t expect a direct-to-ESPN 8: The Ocho release.

From NBA legends Reggie Miller and …

From NBA legends Reggie Miller and Chris Webber’s anticipation for tip-off to actors and producers Issa Rae and Ben Stiller celebrating from afar, the familiar faces and names around the arena each agree on one thing, “I love this game”. In the arena, the show is all about the stars on the court ready to compete in the playoffs, including Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry, Chicago Bulls’ DeMar DeRozan, Dallas Mavericks’ Luka Dončić, Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid, Cleveland Cavaliers’ Darius Garland and Memphis Grizzlies’ Ja Morant. Fittingly, the film is set to the instrumentals of “Trophies” by Drake with Young Money, as each NBA team embraces the singular goal of the postseason.
