The Baltimore Ravens couldn’t have been any healthier coming into Week 16 against the Cleveland Browns. Though a few key players wound up on the injury report this week, all were for non-injury reasons (likely veteran days off).

Baltimore’s inactive reflects their great health, seeing all seven players listed considered a “healthy scratch.” That means the Ravens will have everyone they wanted active against the Browns as they look to make it 11 straight wins.

Take a look at that list of inactives for both Baltimore and Cleveland in Week 16

Ravens vs. Browns: Who’s playing and who isn’t

The Baltimore Ravens should have every player available for Week 16 against the Browns, with Ronnie Stanley and Chris Board “questionable”

The Baltimore Ravens are headed into their Week 16 rematch with the Cleveland Browns as healthy as they can possibly be.

After giving some key veterans days off on Wednesday and Thursday, Friday’s injury report saw no one miss practice or even be limited. In turn, only left tackle Ronnie Stanley and linebacker Chris Board are “questionable” for this game, though both should play after getting cleared from the concussion protocol earlier in the week.

Ravens vs. Browns injury report: DT Brandon Williams given day off Thursday

The Baltimore Ravens saw the addition to defensive tackle Brandon Williams to the injury report against the Browns, but not with an injury.

The Baltimore Ravens have continued their run of good luck this week with injuries. After seeing no players actually miss Wednesday’s practice with an injury, Thursday was the same.

Defensive tackle Brandon Williams was added to the injury report but was listed with a non-injury related designation. Like the four players on Wednesday, Williams is typically given a day off each week to help keep him fresh this late in the season.

Ravens vs. Browns injury report: Ravens as healthy as possible Wednesday

The Ravens are as healthy as any team could reasonably be in Week 16 against the Browns, seeing no players miss practice due to injury

The Baltimore Ravens are coming off a bit of a rest after playing the New York Jets on Thursday in Week 15. That’ll give them 10 days from last week’s game to this week’s matchup against the Cleveland Browns.

Thanks to that rest and a little bit of luck, Baltimore’s injury report to start this week is squeaky clean. Though four players did not practice on Wednesday, all were for non-injury reasons — likely a veteran’s day off to keep those specific players fresh for the postseason.

Let’s take a look at Wednesday’s injury report for the Ravens vs. Browns in Week 16.

Baltimore Ravens injuries:

Player Position Injury Wed Thur Fri Game status
Mark Ingram RB NIR DNP
Jimmy Smith CB NIR DNP
Earl Thomas S NIR DNP
Marshal Yanda G NIR DNP
Chris Board LB Concussion FP
Ronnie Stanley T Concussion FP

It’s beyond rare for an NFL team to be this healthy at this point in the season and it’s something that could seriously benefit the Ravens in the playoffs. With a chance to clinch the No. 1 seed this week, Baltimore could have nothing to play for in Week 17 allowing them to rest their starters. And with a first-round bye, in that case, the Ravens could actually head into the playoffs with two weeks of rest to get even healthier.

Ravens vs. Jets Week 15 inactives: TE Mark Andrews active, T Ronnie Stanley out

The Baltimore Ravens will have to battle the New York Jets without left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who is out with an injury.

The Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets come into Week 15 with very little time to get healthy. Playing on Thursday night, it gave both teams just a few days to get everyone prepared for another football game and this late in the season, those bumps and bruises have started to accumulate.

However, the Ravens come into this one actually fairly well off. In spite of big names like tight end Mark Andrews and quarterback Lamar Jackson not guaranteed to play tonight, both are active. But the offense will have to function without left tackle Ronnie Stanley, who was listed as “doubtful” on Wednesday’s injury report.

Baltimore Ravens inactives:

QB Trace McSorley
WR Jaleel Scott
G Ben Powers
T Ronnie Stanley
CB Anthony Averett
DT Justin Ellis

New York Jets inactives:

John Harbaugh: Mark Andrews injury isn’t serious

Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh doesn’t believe tight end Mark Andrews’ injury is serious. Andrews said he’ll play Thursday.

The Baltimore Ravens escaped Buffalo with a win over the Bills and might have escaped with much more. Ravens tight end Mark Andrews left in the first half with what was later called a knee injury and didn’t return to the lineup.

After the game, coach John Harbaugh noted Andrews’ injury wasn’t very serious, according to ESPN’s Jamison Hensley. With a quick turnaround in Week 15 to play the New York Jets in just four days, there could still be some concern about Andrews being able to suit up for next week. However, Harbaugh said Andrews told him he’d play on Thursday night.

Though Andrews missed much of the game due to the injury, he was still targeted three times (tied for second most on the team) and caught one pass for 14 yards. His two other targets were just off his fingertips, including one in the end zone that would have been a touchdown. The weather clearly affected Baltimore’s passing attack in Week 14 with high wind gusts blowing the ball around but Andrews’ absence was also felt, especially on third downs (27% conversion rate) and down the stretch when they usually pull out to an insurmountable lead.

Andrews has been the driving force of Baltimore’s passing attack. Andrews leads the team in receptions (54), receiving yards (707) and receiving touchdowns (7). While missing a game or two wouldn’t be the end of the world with the 5-8 Jets and 6-7 Cleveland Browns up next, and a playoff spot already clinched; missing much more than that could put a damper on the Ravens’ offensive juggernaut.

We’ll see where Andrews places on this week’s injury report as a better indication of his status for Week 15.

Ravens vs. Bills: Who’s playing and who isn’t in Week 14

The Baltimore Ravens have no players already ruled out but with four listed as “questionable,” there could be some concern in Week 14.

The Baltimore Ravens and Buffalo Bills will enter Week 14 against each other fairly healthy. Both the Ravens and Bills have very few names on their final injury reports and even fewer with their game status in question.

For Baltimore, they have just four players listed as “questionable.” While seeing Marlon Humphrey and Marquise Brown among them is concerning, there’s some upside for both. Humphrey had been limited in the first two practices but returned to full participation today. Brown wasn’t even on the injury report on Wednesday and was also a full participant on Friday. If Friday’s final injury report is any indication, all four players should be able to suit up this week.

Baltimore Ravens game status:

WR Marquise Brown (ankle) – Questionable
CB Marlon Humphrey (thigh) – Questionable
LB Patrick Onwuasor (ankle) – Questionable
WR Seth Roberts (knee) – Questionable

Buffalo Bills game status:

T Ty Nsekhe (ankle) – Out

Nsekhe is Buffalo’s backup left tackle, so being ruled out already isn’t exactly a killer. But Nsekhe has played a decent number of snaps every week he’s been healthy, seeing no fewer than 27% of the offensive snaps in a game this season.

That could end up affecting how the Bills run the football, something they’ll need to do effectively to keep up with the Ravens. But with Baltimore being able to sack quarterbacks 15 times over the last five games, quarterback Josh Allen won’t like missing a key blocker in front of him either.

Ravens vs. 49ers, Week 13: Who’s playing and who isn’t

The Baltimore Ravens found all their impact players healthy enough to be active this week against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Baltimore Ravens will look to extend their winning streak to eight straight games with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers this week. After seeing several impact players listed as “questionable” on the injury report this week, the Ravens find everyone healthy enough to play.

Defensive tackle Michael Pierce, wide receiver Miles Boykin and newly signed guard Parker Ehinger are all active this week against San Francisco. Below is the list of the inactive players for the Ravens.

Baltimore Ravens inactives:

QB Trace McSorley
WR Jaleel Scott
S Bennett Jackson
CB Anthony Averett
CB Iman Marshall
G Ben Powers
DT Zach Sieler

Baltimore finds themselves getting a little reprieve with the 49ers’ inactive list this week. Both running back Matt Breida and left tackle Joe Staley are out with injuries. Given San Francisco leans on their rushing attack heavily and the field will be wet for this game, it’ll be a big blow to their offense.

Take a look at the full inactive list for the 49ers below.

San Francisco 49ers inactives:

T Joe Staley
DE Dee Ford
WR Dante Pettis
QB C.J. Beathard
K Chase McLaughlin
RB Matt Breida

Ravens put C Matt Skura on injured reserve; needs knee surgery

The worst fears were confirmed as the Baltimore Ravens center Matt Skura will need surgery on his knee, heading to injured reserve

The Baltimore Ravens continued their winning streak by beating the Los Angeles Rams in Week 12 but came out of the game a little weaker. After center Matt Skura was carted off the field with a knee injury, the worst fears came true with further testing. The Ravens announced they’ve placed Skura on injured reserve, ending his 2019 campaign early.

Skura had his leg rolled on during a pile-up on fourth down in the first quarter. The team initially announced it as a knee sprain, giving some hope Skura would be able to return at some point this season. However, once they got back to Baltimore and further testing could be done, it was determined surgery was needed.

It’s expected undrafted rookie Patrick Mekari will continue as Skura’s replacement after playing well for the remainder of the game against the Rams. Baltimore could also decide to move left guard Bradley Bozeman further inside to center and replace him with someone like James Hurst. However, that would mess with the continuity on the offensive line quite a bit — a unit that has started the same five guys at their respective positions for all 11 games this season.

This was Skura’s second season as Baltimore’s starting center. He’d really come into his how as the season wore on and was playing at a high level when he went down.

Skura posted a touching message to his Instagram thanking the fans and his teammates.

I am honored to have shared the field with this group of men. We truly have something special going on here in Baltimore. These guys are more than teammates, they are my brothers. We fight and battle for each other every week, putting everything we have on the line. My season has ended, but there’s much more to be accomplished. We have a clear vision and aren’t wavering for anyone until the mission is complete. Thank you to all the family, coaches, friends and fans that have sent encouraging, thoughtful messages. It means more than many of you will ever know seeing the support I’ve received. I’m ready to attack this adversity and get back to the field stronger and better than ever! #RavensFlock #BigTruss

Ravens vs. Rams inactives: DT Michael Pierce out, WR Chris Moore in

The Baltimore Ravens will be without Michael Pierce once again this week as they take on the Los Angeles Rams

The Baltimore Ravens are heading into their Week 12 contest against the Los Angeles Rams without defensive tackle Michael Pierce once again. Listed as “doubtful” for this week after missing the last two practices, it seemed unlikely Pierce would be able to suit up for this game. However, with Pierce running around on the field during warmups, it offers some hope he’ll be ready to go for Week 13 against the San Francisco 49ers.

The rest of the inactives for Baltimore are to be expected and names we’ve often seen on this list each week. But we’ll see wide receiver Chris Moore return to the active list after missing the last few weeks with a thumb injury, potentially retaking some responsibilities as a return specialist.

Below is the full list of Baltimore and Los Angeles’ Week 12 inactives.

Baltimore Ravens inactives:

QB Trace McSorley

Los Angeles Rams inactives:
