The Oregon Ducks football program is quickly finding out it is not immune to the transfer portal.
Several now former Ducks have entered the portal the week of the Spring Game and corner Avante Dickerson just became the latest to leave Eugene.
In his post via Twitter, the redshirt sophomore thanked the training staff and the strength coaches. He played 12 of 14 games in 2021 as a true freshman and played in just one game last season before redshirting.
Dickerson, who hails from Nebraska, was the No. 2 corner in the nation in the class of 2020, according to ESPN. The Cornhuskers will surely be knocking on his door to see if Dickerson wants to come back home.
But whether it’s Nebraska or another school, Dickerson will be a nice addition to any roster.
