5 punters the Eagles could target after Arryn Siposs suffered leg injury against Giants

We’re looking at five punters that the Philadelphia Eagles could have an interest in adding to the roster after Arryn Siposs suffered a lower leg injury against the Giants

The Eagles don’t have many weaknesses, but Punter Arryn Siposs has been a player to watch all season, and things could be heating up.

Siposs suffered a lower leg injury after trying to advance a blocked punt on Sunday and he’ll be out for an indefinite amount of time.

Here are five punters Philadelphia could have in for a tryout ahead of Sunday’s matchup at Chicago.

Eagles punter Arryn Siposs out indefinitely after suffering leg injury in win over the Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles will be without punter Arryn Siposs indefinitely after he suffered a leg injury and was carted off against Giants after trying to advance a blocked punt

Philadelphia was already awaiting word on Reed Blankenship and it appears that they’ll need to add a punter to the roster as well.

Arryn Siposs left Sunday’s win with a leg injury after attempting to advance a punt, and now per Tom Pelissero, he’ll miss an indefinite amount of time.

Sunday with Siposs out, wide receiver Britain Covey was the holder on field goal attempts, and placekicker, Jake Elliott assumed the punting duties while holding a huge lead.

The 12-1 Eagles will work to add a punter ahead of Sunday’s matchup at Chicago.

After watching Reed Blankenship leave with an ankle injury, punter Arryn Siposs quickly followed with his own foot injury.

With Siposs out, wide receiver Britain Covey is the holder on field goal attempts, and placekicker, Jake Elliott would assume the punting duties if Nick Sirianni doesn’t choose to go for it on fourth down for the remainder of the game.

Philadelphia is currently leading the Giants 24-7 after an explosive first half of offense from the Eagles.

Eagles had free agent punter Brock Miller in for a work out

In what seems like a yearly event, the Philadelphia Eagles worked out free agent punter Brock Miller in advance of Monday’s matchup against the Washington Commanders

The Eagles don’t have many weaknesses, but Punter Arryn Siposs has been a player to watch all season, and things could be heating up.

For the second time in less than a year, Philadelphia had free-agent punter Brock Miller in for a workout.

It’s an annual event, and the second time the Eagles had Miller in before playing Washington.

Entering the league as an undrafted free agent in 2014, Miller has yet to see game action while bouncing around the league from the practice squad to the practice squad.

Miller signed a futures contract with the San Francisco 49ers in January 2017 but was cut later that offseason in May.

He’s also spent four different occasions on the Giants’ practice squad and most recently signed with the Los Angeles Rams during the 2019 preseason.

6 Eagles who must play better after the bye week

Here are six Philadelphia Eagles who must step up and improve their level of play even more after the Week 7 bye

The Philadelphia Eagles hit their bye in Week 7, almost seven-week earlier than in 2021 when the team didn’t get an official rest period until Week 14.

Philadelphia is 6-0, and although we haven’t quite reached the halfway point of the regular season, the Eagles are firmly entrenched as a potential No. 1 seed that would allow for home-field advantage.

With Philadelphia looking ahead towards a week eight matchup against the Steelers, here are six players that have to play better down the stretch.
