Andrew Sendejo trolls the Browns on Instagram: ‘will never make the playoffs without me’

Andrew Sendejo had some time on his hands today.

Commenting on a post made on Instagram, former Cleveland Browns safety Andrew Sendejo has declared the team will not make the playoff without him. The post was about the Browns’ over/under win total for 2023 being set at 10.5 wins in 2023. I would take the over with the team winning at least 11 this season.

The post in general is as funny as when he was with the team Sendejo, as he did not exactly have a memorable season. Though he provided veteran leadership and was thrust into a bigger role than expected, he wasn’t very good.

Not long after the post new Browns safety, Juan Thornhill replied to the message:

7 pending free agents the Colts should let walk

With free agency just over a month away, here are 7 players the Colts should let walk.

The Indianapolis Colts are just over a month away from the new league year opening, which means they’ll have their chances to make moves in free agency.

With a solid standing in the salary-cap department, the Colts can make as many moves as they want. It’s unlikely they will make splash additions, though, even if general manager Chris Ballard readjusts his process a bit when it comes to free agency.

The Colts have a number of players who held impactful roles set to hit the market when the middle of March arrives. We previously took a look at 12 pending free agents they should consider re-signing.

Now, it’s time to take a look at the players the Colts should let walk. This doesn’t mean the team should completely abandon these players but it might be best for them to test the market first in case there is a cheaper, younger and better alternative.

This list won’t include every player that the Colts shouldn’t bring back but instead, we’ll focus on the bigger names set to hit the market.

Here are seven pending free agents the Colts should let walk in 2022:

Colts place S Andrew Sendejo on COVID-19 list

The Colts placed S Andrew Sendejo on the COVID-19 list.

The Indianapolis Colts placed safety Andrew Sendejo on the reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Thursday.

Sendejo seemed to be on his way to returning after missing the last two games due to a concussion. He was a limited participant on Wednesday but now will miss Sunday’s finale against the Jacksonville Jaguars even with the new protocols in place.

Since Julian Blackmon tore his Achilles, Sendejo has been a starter when healthy. With Sendejo missing his third consecutive game, the Colts are likely to lean on a combination of George Odum and Jahleel Addae.

1 ruled out, 4 questionable in Colts vs. Raiders

Here are the players with injury designations between the Colts and Raiders in Week 17.

The Indianapolis Colts (9-6) and Las Vegas Raiders (8-7) released their final injury reports on Friday ahead of the Week 17 matchup at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Both injury reports were relatively clean. Only one player was ruled out from the Colts’ side while three were listed as questionable. One of them is a true game-time decision.

The Raiders, meanwhile, only had one player listed with an injury designation.

Some of this is subject to change. Players can be added or removed from the injury report or a status can be changed.

Here’s a quick look at the five players in this matchup with injury designations:

Colts rule out S Andrew Sendejo vs. Raiders in Week 17

Colts’ Andrew Sendejo (concussion) is the only player ruled out in Week 17.

Indianapolis Colts safety Andrew Sendejo was the only player ruled out Friday ahead of the Week 17 matchup with the Las Vegas Raiders, head coach Frank Reich told reporters.

Sendejo has been in the league’s concussion protocol since initially suffering the head injury late in the Week 15 matchup against the New England Patriots. He has yet to practice since being placed in the protocol and this will be his second consecutive game missed.

With Khari Willis being activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list this week, the Colts are likely to roll with Willis and a combination of George Odum and Jahleel Addae.

In other injury news, left tackle Eric Fisher will be questionable. He didn’t practice during the first two days of the week and was seemingly limited on Friday. The final injury report will clear that up when its released later on Friday.

If Fisher can’t go due to his injuries, the Colts will lean on Matt Pryor to be the starter at left tackle.

The Colts also placed long snapper Luke Rhodes on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Friday so he’s unlikely to play on Sunday.

Raiders, Colts Thursday injury report: Colts still missing 3 starters

Colts still missing three starters at Thursday’s practice in prep to face Raiders

There was no change to the injury report Thursday for the Colts. And that was not good news because they had three starters missing on Wednesday and those same three starters were still missing on Thursday.

Starting left tackle Eric Fisher (knee/shoulder/toe), TE Jack Doyle (knee/ankle), and S Andrew Sendejo (concussion) were all missing once again for the Colts further jeopardizing their chances of playing in Sunday’s game.

The only change of any kind to the injury report for either team was Quinton Jefferson returning after resting on Wednesday. The Raiders have had only walk-thrus on Wednesday and Thursday.

The bigger issue for both teams remains those players on the reserve/COVID-19 list. The Raiders currently have 12 players on the list while the Colts have six players on the list including starting QB Carson Wentz who is unvaccinated.

If any of those players test negative, they can return should they be healthy enough to do so. The injured players are a different story. If they were healthy enough to play, they’d be practicing.

3 ruled out, 3 questionable in Colts vs. Cardinals

These are the players with injury designations between the Colts and Cardinals in Week 16.

The Indianapolis Colts (8-6) and Arizona Cardinals (10-4) released their final injury report of the week on Thursday with designations ahead of the Week 16 matchup at State Farm Stadium.

The Colts had two players ruled out with a trio sitting on the reserve/COVID-19 list while the Cardinals ruled out one player with three others listed as questionable. They, too, have some COVID-19 issues.

Here’s a quick look at the players with injury designations in Week 16:

Colts rule out Ryan Kelly, Andrew Sendejo vs. Cardinals

The Colts ruled out C Ryan Kelly and S Andrew Sendejo in Week 16.

Indianapolis Colts head coach Frank Reich ruled out center Ryan Kelly and safety Andrew Sendejo on Thursday ahead of the Week 16 matchup against the Arizona Cardinals.

Sendejo suffered a concussion during the Week 15 win over the New England Patriots and failed to practice. He’ll remain in the concussion protocol until he clears it.

With Sendejo out, the Colts are likely to lean on George Odum to get the start next to Khari Willis.

Kelly will miss his second consecutive game as he spends time away from the team following the tragic death of his unborn daughter. It isn’t clear when he will return.

In Kelly’s place, the Colts will start Danny Pinter at center.

Starting right guard Mark Glowinski was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list on Thursday so he’s unlikely to play unless he can test negative before the game.

Colts’ Andrew Sendejo in concussion protocol

Colts S Andrew Sendejo is in the league’s concussion protocol.

Indianapolis Colts safety Andrew Sendejo is in the league’s concussion protocol following the Week 15 win over the New England Patriots.

Sendejo took a nasty hit on a collision with Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry during the fourth quarter of the 27-17 win. Both players had to get helped off the field following the hit.

Head coach Frank Reich told the media on Sunday that Sendejo is currently in the league’s concussion protocol.

“All right, just one injury update. Andrew Sendejo is in the concussion protocol so we’ll just continue to monitor him day-by-day,” said Reich.

The Colts are already without safety Julian Blackmon, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles. They have Khari Willis in the defensive backfield, but the safety room is thin.

This will be an injury to monitor throughout the week as the Colts prepare for a Christmas matchup against the Arizona Cadinals.
