Colts’ Andrew Sendejo in concussion protocol

Colts S Andrew Sendejo is in the league’s concussion protocol.

Indianapolis Colts safety Andrew Sendejo is in the league’s concussion protocol following the Week 15 win over the New England Patriots.

Sendejo took a nasty hit on a collision with Patriots wide receiver N’Keal Harry during the fourth quarter of the 27-17 win. Both players had to get helped off the field following the hit.

Head coach Frank Reich told the media on Sunday that Sendejo is currently in the league’s concussion protocol.

“All right, just one injury update. Andrew Sendejo is in the concussion protocol so we’ll just continue to monitor him day-by-day,” said Reich.

The Colts are already without safety Julian Blackmon, who is out for the season with a torn Achilles. They have Khari Willis in the defensive backfield, but the safety room is thin.

This will be an injury to monitor throughout the week as the Colts prepare for a Christmas matchup against the Arizona Cadinals.
