We already know which teams the New Orleans Saints are going to play in 2023, we’re just waiting on the NFL schedule release to confirm the dates and times for each matchup. But which of their opponents have given the Saints the most trouble over the years?

Here’s a quick look at the series history between the Saints and every team lined up on their 2023 schedule, ordered from the lowest winning percentage to the highest:

SERIES HISTORY: All-time meetings between Alabama and Texas

Alabama and Texas have only ever met nine times on the football field, and it has not gone well for Alabama.

Top-ranked Alabama will hit the road after winning its season-opening matchup against Utah State. Austin, Texas is the destination for Week 2 for the highly anticipated matchup between the Crimson Tide and the Texas Longhorns.

These two historic programs have surprisingly only met nine times and the all-time record between the two is lopsided, leaning heavily in the direction of Texas.

The Longhorns have won seven of the nine, there has been one tie and Alabama managed to win the most recent meeting, which just so happened to be with a national title on the line.

Alabama is a heavy favorite heading into Week 2; but even with a win, there’s a whole lot of ground to make up to catch up to Texas in the all-time record.

How many CFB teams are undefeated vs. Alabama?

Few teams have never lost to the Crimson Tide, can you guess how many?

The University of Alabama football program is the gold standard in college football all across the nation. While there have been a few bumps in the road, the Crimson Tide stay at, or near, the top in all-time greatest programs.

The program’s resume is impressive: 18 national championships, three Heisman trophies and a head coach that received almost 20 times more votes for the 2017 Alabama Senatorial election (421) than he has all-time losses in his nearly 15-year career at Alabama (23).

Some younger college football fans my not know this, but Alabama actually use to lose a decent amount. In fact, there are some programs Alabama hasn’t beaten at all.

In total, there have been 11 programs to have beaten Alabama and never suffer a loss.

Today, we will be looking at Texas’ record against the Atlantic Coast Conference, with a bonus! Notre Dame has been included as well, playing all sports but football in the ACC. Even then, Brian Kelly’s squad played a 10 game schedule in 2020 thanks to COVID-19.

Much like the Big Ten, Texas does not have significant history against the conference.

Back to the ACC and Texas’ most played opponent is North Carolina. The two, who share a love for Mack Brown, have faced off nine different times. Most recently in a home and home series in 2001 and 2002.

Three programs have never lined up against the Longhorns, most notably Clemson. Many schools have also only played Texas once, either in a bowl game or a one-off campus visit.
