In a light heavyweight bout on the main card, Aleksa Camur and Tanner Boser meet Saturday at UFC on ESPN 50 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn. Let’s analyze BetMGM Sportsbook’s lines around the UFC on ESPN 50: Camur vs. Boser odds, and make our expert picks and predictions.

Records: Camur (6-2-0) | Boser (20-10-1)

Camur is looking to turn things around. The fighter from Bosnia-Herzegovina has dropped a pair of bouts via decision to William Knight and Nicolae Negumereanu after a successful debut at UFC 246 in a unanimous-decision win over Justin Ledet. This will be Camur’s first UFC fight since losing to Negumereanu in June 2021.

The veteran Boser is also on a 2-bout skid and is just 1-4 across his last 5 fights. His losses are a little more impressive, coming against fellow veterans Andrei Arlovski, Ion Cutelaba and Ilir Latifi, with a win by KO/TKO against Ovince Saint Preux. That schedule is quite the gauntlet, and the losses aren’t really much to be ashamed of for the Canadian heavyweight.

Boser, a.k.a. “The Bulldozer”, has never lost 3 straight fights at any point of his career. He takes the walk with 4.17 significant strikes landed per minute, landing 58.45% of those punches. If Camur has an advantage, it’s in the takedown game, where he has a 0.59 takedown average, while Boser is zeroed out.

UFC on ESPN 50: Camur vs. Boser odds

Provided by BetMGM Sportsbook; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list. Lines last updated at 6:57 a.m. ET.

  • Fight result (2-way line): Camur +130 (bet $100 to win $130) | Boser -160 (bet $160 to win $100)
  • Over/Under: 2.5 rounds (Over -160 | Under +120)
  • Will the fight go the distance? (Yes -125 | No -110)

UFC on ESPN 50: Camur vs. Boser picks and predictions

Fight result (2-way line or moneyline)

The veteran BOSER (-160) still has plenty left in the tank at 32 years old, and he’ll ease by Camur using his veteran savvy and punching power. The Canadian has fought some of the best in the division and is much more battle-tested than the Bosnian fighter. Camur’s day is coming, but that day will not be Saturday.

Over/Under (O/U)

OVER 2.5 ROUNDS (-160) isn’t a bad wager, and is not priced out of line. Boster has gone the distance in 3 of his past 5 fights, while all 3 of Camur’s bouts at the UFC level have needed the judges to decide a victor.

In addition, YES (-125): WILL THE FIGHT GO THE DISTANCE? is an even better play based on the facts above. Neither of these fighters has been getting finishes lately.

Matchup Roundup: New UFC and Bellator fights announced in the past week (May 16-21)

All the UFC and Bellator fight announcements that were first reported or confirmed by MMA Junkie in the past week.

MMA fight announcements are hard to follow. With so many outlets and channels available, it’s nearly impossible to organize.

But here at MMA Junkie, we’ve got your back.

Each week, we’ll compile all the newly surfaced fights in one spot. Every Monday, expect a feature listing everything you might have missed from the UFC or Bellator.

Here are the fight announcements that were broken or confirmed by MMA Junkie or officially announced by a promotion from May 16-21.

Tanner Boser vs. Aleksa Camur booked for UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 5

Tanner Boser returns against Aleksa Camur at a UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 5.

[autotag]Tanner Boser [/autotag] is sticking with light heavyweight.

After suffering a loss in his first fight at 205-pounds, Boser is returning again in hopes to get his first official win in the division. The Canadian fighter will take on [autotag]Aleksa Camur[/autotag] at a UFC Fight Night event on Aug. 5. The location for the card has yet to be announced.

Two people with knowledge of the booking recently informed MMA Junkie of the matchup but asked to remain anonymous as the promotion has yet to make an official announcement.

Boser (20-10-1 MMA, 4-5 UFC) last fought at UFC on ESPN 44 in April when he lost to Ion Cutelaba in a first-round TKO. Not only is Boser looking to get his first win at light heavyweight, but also trying to snap a two-fight losing streak, as he was coming off a split decision defeat to Rodrigo Nascimento in the bout prior to Cutelaba. The Canadian is 1-4 in his past five UFC outings.

Camur (6-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) is in a similar situation to his opponent’s, as he’s got back to back defeats in the octagon. He hasn’t been seen in action in a good while, as his last bout was a split decision loss to Nicolae Negumereanu back in summer of 2021.

Dustin Jacoby steps in for Aleksa Camur vs. John Allan at UFC 268

Just five days before the event, there’s been a change to the UFC 268 prelims.

Just five days before the event, there’s been a change to the UFC 268 prelims.

[autotag]Aleksa Camur[/autotag] (6-2 MMA, 1-2 UFC) is out of his light heavyweight fight against [autotag]John Allan[/autotag] (13-6 MMA, 0-1 UFC). Stepping in for Camur on short notice will be [autotag]Dustin Jacoby[/autotag] (15-5-1 MMA, 3-2-1 UFC). MMA Junkie confirmed the new matchup with people with knowledge of the booking after an initial report from MMA DNA.

UFC 268 takes place Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. The main card airs on pay-per-view following prelims on ESPNews/ESPN+ and early prelims on ESPN+.

Jacoby hasn’t lost since he returned to MMA after pausing that part of his combat sports career to focus on kickboxing. He won his way back to the UFC in August 2020 on Dana White’s Contender Series, then picked up back-to-back wins over Justin Ledet and Maxim Grishin. After a split draw with Ion Cutelaba in May, Jacoby stopped Darren Stewart with a first-round TKO in late August.

Allan is in search of his first UFC win. He made his promotional debut in July 2019 and took a decision from Mike Rodriguez. But the win was overturned to a no contest when Allan failed a post-fight drug test. In December 2020, he dropped a split decision to Roman Dolidze.

Camur was looking to bounce back from back-to-back decision losses to William Knight in September 2020 and Nick Negumereanu in June. Those losses were the first of his career on the heels of a DWCS TKO win over Fabio Cherant to get into the UFC and a decision over Ledet in his promotional debut in January 2020.

With the change, the UFC 268 lineup now includes:
