Don’t let the weather be a reason you didn’t play your best, check out some of the best accessories to have on hand when the skies open up.
But first, a few tips to make the most of a rainy day on the golf course:
1) Load up on towels. Whether you’re keeping your grips dry, cleaning your golf ball or drying off your cart seat, two to three towels should help you get through a soggy round.
2) Invest in rain gear. Having a set of rain pants and a weatherproof jacket is well worth the investment. Take care of yourself — you deserve it.
3) Have fun! It may sound silly, but remember…you’re not on Tour. Don’t let a downpour make you sour. Hey, you never know the tales you may be able to tell from a muddy round.
With those tips in mind and quality gear in hand, you’ll be chomping at the bit to hit the links no matter how rainy the day.

When it comes to rain gear, especially for the summer months — breathability and flexibility are the top two factors. There’s no point in putting on a jacket to stay dry if you’re going to sweat right through it.

The Adidas Ultraboost shoe took the footwear industry by storm in 2015. Golf sneaker enthusiasts have been patiently waiting for Adidas to release the golf version of the shoe and the wait is finally coming to an end.
The golf version of the shoe was inspired by the original Ultraboost silhouette with golf specific features to make this a performance shoe engineered to play all day.
Including the Adiwear rubber outsole with its raised textured lugs for spikeless performance and all-day comfort. This outsole also features an anti-clogging polished surface to help keep grass and dirt out so that traction remains on point all day.
The upper was designed to repel water with its hydrophobic yarns and the Primeknit upper and microfiber leather toe overlay for additional stability.
The saddle is croc-textured and the TPU heel clip helps to provide lateral stability throughout the swing. The comfortable and updated EVA sockliner is engineered for golfers as its properties include anti-slip and moisture wicking functions.
“At the heart of Ultraboost is a silhouette that perfectly blends high-performance with streetwear fashion, and that’s something we wanted to bring to the course,” said Masun Denison, director of global footwear, Adidas Golf.
“Even though it’s been around for less than a decade, it’s such an icon within the brand, so we took our time to only add pieces that would benefit golfers while still keeping the DNA that make this shoe so great. We know there are golfers out there that have been waiting for this one, so we’re excited for them to finally experience it and we’re excited for them to finally experience it out on the course.”
The shoe will be available in unisex sizing on Adidas.com and in select retailers on April 21.
