WATCH: Dolphins share behind-the-scenes clips for Pro Bowl Games

Dolphins share mic’d up moments from the Pro Bowl Games.

Six members of the Miami Dolphins roster got to spend last week parading around Florida, as they participated in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Tua Tagovailoa, Raheem Mostert, Alec Ingold, Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead and Jalen Ramsey all had the chance to represent the aqua and orange in a number of events, including the flag football game last Sunday.

Miami’s content team recently released some behind-the-scenes footage from the activities, which featured Mostert wearing the mic.

The Dolphins may not have been the best performers throughout the Pro Bowl Games, but they did appear to have a great. They’re hoping that they’ll be busy preparing for the Super Bowl next year.

Trevor Lawrence passed on Pro Bowl invite, says Peyton Manning

Trevor Lawrence didn’t participate in the Pro Bowl because it was “kind of a late notice thing,” according to Peyton Manning.

Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence was one of three AFC passers to decline an invite to the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, according to Peyton Manning.

Manning, who served as head coach of the AFC, told reporters that he spoke to Lawrence prior to the event, and said that the Jaguars quarterback didn’t participate because it was “kind of a late notice thing.”

“Talked to him this week, trying to maybe see if he was going to come down once Lamar [Jackson] was unable to play and just couldn’t — kind of a late notice thing for him, but he’s great,” Manning said, via Brent Martineau of Action Sports Jax.

When the Pro Bowl rosters were announced in January, the three quarterbacks for the AFC were Tua Tagovailoa of the Miami Dolphins, Patrick Mahomes of the Kansas City Chiefs, and Lamar Jackson of the Baltimore Ravens.

While Tagovailoa participated, Mahomes was unable to because the Chiefs reached Super Bowl LVIII. Jackson opted out for reasons that weren’t made public.

Those two open spots were eventually filled by the Houston Texans’ C.J. Stroud and the Indianapolis Colts’ Gardner Minshew. How many quarterbacks declined an invite before those two accepted is unclear, though. The Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen was reportedly one of the other passers who skipped the event.

Lawrence, 24, finished his third season in the NFL with 21 touchdowns and 14 interceptions.

Colts’ highlights from 2024 Pro Bowl Games

Check out the Colts’ highlights from the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

A quartet of Indianapolis Colts players represented the organization at the 2024 Pro Bowl Games in Orlando over the weekend.

As the league continues to move further away from the traditional All-Star Game format, instead opting for a week of events and mini-games, the Colts were well-represented by some of the biggest leaders in the locker room.

Quarterback Gardner Minshew, left guard Quenton Nelson, center Ryan Kelly and defensive tackle DeForest Buckner all took part in the weekend events.

Minshew and Kelly were the only players to participate in Thursday’s skills showdown. Minshew competed in the Precision Passing event with the other Pro Bowl quarterbacks while Kelly competed in the snap shot event with the other centers.

From being mic’d up to shining in the flag football game to end the weekend, here are the highlights from the Colts players during the 2024 Pro Bowl Games.

Every Jaguars highlight from the 2024 Pro Bowl Games

If you missed Josh Allen, Evan Engram, and Ross Matiscik at the Pro Bowl, we’ve got you covered.

The Jacksonville Jaguars had three players participating in the 2024 Pro Bowl Games this year: pass rusher Josh Allen, tight end Evan Engram, and long snapper Ross Matiscik.

Unlike previous years, the weekend of festivities for the NFL’s all-star selections didn’t end with an actual football game.

Instead, the NFL recently replaced the game with a series of skills competitions and events culminating in a flag football game to determine the winning conference.

That meant a dizzying few days of mini-games and highlights involving Allen, Engram, and Matiscik. If you couldn’t keep up with all the Pro Bowl action in Orlando, Fla., have no fear. We’ll get you all caught up on all the Jaguars highlights from the 2024 Pro Bowl Games:

Bucs QB Baker Mayfield named Pro Bowl Games offensive MVP

It’s safe to say Baker Mayfield had fun at his first Pro Bowl — and he made a big impact, too.

The season may be over for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but that doesn’t mean that Bucs quarterback [autotag]Baker Mayfield[/autotag] has to stop baking.

Mayfield was selected to his first Pro Bowl as an alternate for Dak Prescott in 2024, and he made it count. After the NFC officially won the Pro Bowl games, Mayfield was named the offensive MVP for the games. Ironically, he stood on the same stage as a division rival, as New Orleans Saints linebacker Demario Davis was named the defensive MVP.

Mayfield kicked off the Pro Bowl Games with a victory in the Precision Passing event, winning 9-8 over AFC quarterback C.J. Stroud. He also showed out in the flag football game for the NFC, coming in for the fourth quarter and throwing two touchdowns to help bring the NFC to victory.

While the victory is unlikely to affect the way the Bucs view him for his play on the field, it does put his contract situation once again front and center in the NFL world. Mayfield is a free agent for 2024, and Tampa Bay will decide whether it wants to bring him back or not for the upcoming season.

Cowboys stars CeeDee Lamb, Bryan Anger give NFC early lead before Pro Bowl Games’ final day

From @ToddBrock24f7: The Cowboys receiver and punter helped win their respective skills events, with several others slated to compete Sunday.

The NFC will carry a 12-6 lead into the final day of the Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, thanks in large part to the individual efforts of several of the Cowboys’ all-stars.

Wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and punter Bryan Anger sealed wins in their respective events Thursday, each earning three points for the conference as they head into the remaining skills competitions and the flag football finale on Sunday. Linebacker/edge rusher Micah Parsons and cornerback DaRon Bland also participated in events but were unable to come away with wins.

But several more Cowboys will still get a chance to extend the NFC’s lead. Kicker Brandon Aubrey will line up against Ravens veteran Justin Tucker in a game of Kick Tac Toe, while defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence and offensive guard Tyler Smith will help battle the AFC’s top linemen in Move the Chains.

Lawrence will come back to take a leg in the Gridiron Gauntlet relay race, Parsons will get a shot at redemption in Madden NFL Head-to-Head, and three Cowboys- Anger, Aubrey, and Smith- will compete in a high-stakes Tug-of-War.

The conference that wins each event earns three points that count toward their team’s overall score, with points from the flag football game then being added to crown 2024’s ultimate winner.

Here’s a look at how several Cowboys notables have done so far.

WATCH: Dolphins QB Tua Tagovailoa struggles in Precision Passing challenge at Pro Bowl Games

QB1 didn’t have his best on Thursday.

On Thursday night, the NFL hosted its first night of events for the 2024 Pro Bowl Games, and plenty of Miami Dolphins were involved.

Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, appearing in his first Pro Bowl, was selected for the precision-passing challenge, but his showing left a lot to be desired.

Tagovailoa, known for his accuracy, struggled to get much going throughout the event, scoring the fewest points among the six participants. Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield walked away with the victory, earning the NFC points in the overall competition.

After the battle, Tagovailoa told ESPN’s Ryan Clark that he felt the pressure.

“I felt a lot of pressure,” Tagovailoa said. “A lot of the guys are good throwers. I didn’t come with the A game that I wanted to today.”

This would’ve been a great opportunity for Miami’s quarterback to make a statement, even in a silly game. Now, however, his performance will just give more ammo to his detractors.

7 events that Dolphins are participating in during the 2024 Pro Bowl Games

Six Dolphins will participate in seven events for the Pro Bowl Games.

This week, as the NFL world prepares for the Super Bowl battle between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers, the 2024 Pro Bowl Games will be held on Thursday and Sunday.

The Miami Dolphins have six players – Tua Tagovailoa, Raheem Mostert, Alec Ingold, Tyreek Hill, Terron Armstead and Jalen Ramsey – set to participate.

Over those two days, they’ll all compete in various challenges against their peers, with ESPN beginning the broadcast of the Thursday events at 7 p.m. ET. Here’s a look at who will be representing the aqua and orange in each event:

Pro Bowl Games events announced for Jaguars’ 3 participants

The Pro Bowl Games will get started tonight and Josh Allen, Evan Engram, and Ross Matiscik will all participate in events.

The 2024 Pro Bowl Games will begin Thursday night with several mini-games between the best players in the AFC and NFC.

That’ll include three members of the Jacksonville Jaguars who earned Pro Bowl honors: outside linebacker Josh Allen, tight end Evan Engram, and long snapper Ross Matiscik.

Unlike the past, there won’t be a full-fledged football game highlighting the NFL’s all-stars. Instead, smaller skill competitions will lead up to a flag football game Sunday to decide the winning conference.

Last year, quarterback Trevor Lawrence and return specialist Jamal Agnew were the Jaguars’ two Pro Bowlers. During the flag football game, Lawrence had a couple of touchdown passes, including a deep bomb to Stefon Diggs.

This year, here’s what Allen, Engram, and Matiscik will be doing at the event in Orlando, Fla.
