Georgia football injury report ahead of SECCG vs LSU

Georgia Football full injury report ahead of the SEC Championship Game this Saturday December 7th @ 4:00 p.m. on CBS.

OUT: WR Lawrence Cager

Cager underwent surgery last Friday to repair a severe sprained ankle but could return in late December, depending on his response to the surgery.  Cager is out for the SEC Championship Game.

OUT: OL Justin Shaffer

Shaffer suffered a neck injury during the South Carolina game and has been out since. No timetable set for his return.

OUT: OL Owen Condon

Condon was originally on the IR for a lower-body issue and was seen in a sling on his left shoulder during the Missouri game.

OUT: WR Trey Blount

Blount has been out for a few weeks for undisclosed reasons.

OUT: DT Tramel Walthour

Walthour has been battling a lower body injury pretty much all season. He dressed last weekend but did not play at all.

OUT: QB D’wan Mathis

Freshman quarterback D’wan Mathis is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery to remove a cyst from his brain this offseason.  There is no current timetable for Mathis’ return.
