Philadelphia Eagles
The bottom line is, the Eagles need receivers. No matter who is playing for them, it will more than likely be better than what was on the field towards the end of the season for Philadelphia. An injury-riddled season for Eagle receivers, the top three guys for quarterback Carson Wentz were two tight ends and a running back.
Zach Ertz and Dallas Goedert both had good seasons for tight ends, but it is rare that that position leads the team in receiving yards. Running back Miles Sanders was third in the team with just over 500 yards. WRs Alshon Jeffery and Nelson Aghlor only played 10 and 11 games respectively, causing issues late in the season.
In the NFC Wild Card game against Seattle, the Eagles’ main receiver was Greg Ward Jr, a former quarterback at the University of Houston. Philadelphia will invest heavily in wide receiver and Duvernay will be there for the taking. Wentz needs targets and that is what Duvernay can provide.
