Four landing spots in the 2020 NFL Draft for Devin Duvernay

Because of Duvernay’s stellar season, he has shot up on many NFL Draft boards. Here are four potential landing spots for Devin Duvernay:

New England Patriots

No matter who plays quarterback for the New England Patriots next season, they are going to need some weapons. Tom Brady only had one real threat all season as Julian Edelman recorded another 1,000 receiving yard season. Once you get past him, the next leading receiver for the Patriots was running back James White.

While drafting Duvernay would not solve all of their problems, it would be in the right direction. When you think about wide receivers to play with Tom Brady in New England, you do not think of many deep threats. You think of shorter, quicker guys that Brady can get the ball to. That is exactly what Duvernay could provide.

Unlike the Cowboys, Brady does not need a reliable target. He just needs a target. Losing tight end Rob Gronkowski took a toll on the offense in 2018 and the Patriots are looking to reload for a couple more runs with Brady. Duvernay would get to learn from one of the best in Edelman while also playing with one of the greatest quarterbacks of all time.
