No statements have been released on the status of Saturday night’s game between No. 3 Georgia and No. 2 Alabama.  Kickoff is still scheduled for 8:00 P.M. ET and is expected to go on as long as more positive tests don’t come back these next couple of days.

The Twitter world reacts to Texas A&M upsetting the No. 4 ranked Florida Gators.

The No. 21 Texas A&M Aggies (3-0, 3-0) just upset the No. 4 Florida Gators (2-1, 2-1) by a score of 41-38.

Jimbo Fisher gets a massive upset victory over a top-5 team which will skyrocket A&M in the polls.  This is Fisher’s first top-5 win since 2014.

Texas A&M quarterback Kellen Mond completed 25 of his 35 pass attempts for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns.  A turnover by the Aggies defense late in the fourth quarter set up a last second field goal that gave them the three point victory.

Twitter reacts to Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman’s decision to opt-out of the 2020 CFB season

Here is how UGA Twitter reacted to the recent news of Georgia quarterback Jamie Newman’s decision to opt-out of the 2020 CFB season.

Wow, that stings. Georgia’s new heralded gunslinger Jamie Newman has decided to opt-out of the 2020 college football season and will be preparing for the 2021 NFL Draft.

Can’t say I don’t blame him for doing so, but that doesn’t make it any easier to swollow.

We were excited to say the least when Newman chose to finish his collegiate career at Georgia. And all we’ve heard this summer is about how Newman was one of the top returning quarterbacks in college football, so losing him just weeks before the opening is disheartening.

Here is how UGA Twitter reacted to the recent news:

Georgia football players take to Twitter to try and save CFB season

Following the postponement of the Big Ten and PAC-12 football seasons, Georgia football players took to Twitter to express their opinions.

Following the somber news of the Big Ten and PAC-12 postponing their fall sports due to COVID-19 safety concerns, a number of Georgia football players took to Twitter in an attempt to voice their opinions on playing this season.

Malik Herring, James Cook, Jamaree Salyer and Justin Shaffer were some of the Dawgs players who tweeted out the trending movement among athletes: #WeWantToPlay.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart supported his players stance and gave them retweets on their posts.

The 2020 college football season could be hard to salvage with two of the five Power Five conferences opting out of the season, but that isn’t stopping players from expressing themselves.

Watch: Georgia S&C coordinator Scott Sinclair’s creative quarantine workouts

Scott Sinclair acknowledges that the responsible move is to stay at home and get creative with your regular workout routine.

Whether or not your gym is closed due to public health concerns, Scott Sinclair acknowledges that the responsible move is to stay at home and get creative with your regular workout routine. This week, Georgia football’s director of strength and conditioning took to twitter to demonstrate.

Don’t have dumbbells at home? No problem. Use a jug of water or laundry detergent. Get those shoulder presses in.

Need to do four sets of ten step-ups or calf raises? Grab a sturdy, flat seated wooden chair.

My personal favorite: an exercise he calls “how much can you carry at the grocery store?” Sinclair proceeds to pick up a jug of water and bag of oranges and recommends at least 100 squats.

Others include using a four-fold ladder as a squat rack:

In another, he simply loads his wheelbarrow with items from his garage, runs uphill, goes down hill, rinses, repeats:

This is what made me keep up with these videos in the first place. If you haven’t seen it already, the soup can shoulder raise:

And perhaps the most elaborate post, he outlines a game involving a deck of playing cards, workouts assigned to each card, and an imaginary jump rope:

Sinclair implores us to attack the day even when we’re stuck at home. Based upon the work he’s doing at home, the days he attacks have to be waving white flags by now.
