Villanova -2.5 (-105) has played hard over the first 7 games, but it continues to come up just short. The offense has really struggled, hitting just 42.4% from the field, and 31.4% from downtown. If ‘Nova does anything well, it’s hit free throws, knocking them down at an 81.7% clip.

Defensively, ‘Nova has struggled, too, allowing 71.0 PPG, and 37.9% shooting by opponents from behind the arc.

Oklahoma is very deliberate on offense, going for just 65.7 PPG during the early going, but it might turn things up against a Villanova D, which doesn’t offer much resistance.

The Sooners are one of the better defensive teams in the nation, allowing just 56.9 PPG, while limiting teams to just 25.6% from downtown.

Over/Under

OVER 125.5 (-115) is worth a shot here, but play just a half-unit.

Argentina (-400) will cost you 4 times your potential return, and that’s way too much risk. The public must have went hard on Australia (+1200) as Argentina was -490 late Friday night. Australia doesn’t really have the offensive depth to make a run any further than this match. Argentina has the world-class players, and Messi will at least carry it through to the Quarterfinals.

The better play is AUSTRALIA +2 (+100), as the Socceroos have shown it has the defense, posting 2 clean sheets. Argentina has 2 straight clean sheets, too.

Over/Under (O/U)

The UNDER 2.5 (-110) is the best option on the board.

Both of these teams have keepers who have posted clean sheets, and goals should be at a premium.

The United States has proven that it can hang with top-tier sides. The Netherlands should eventually win this game, but what USA showed against England should instill confidence in bettors.

USA held England to 3 shots on target and no goals which was an impressive showing as England tallied 9 goals in its other 2 games.

Netherlands also didn’t impress too much. It took down Qatar and Senegal but had 5 fewer shots than Senegal. Ecuador also ranks 44th in the world and drew the Netherlands.

For what each side showed through Group Stage, a DRAW (+240) has good value.

Over/Under (O/U)

LEAN UNDER 2.5 (-170).

Every game by both teams in the Group Stage went under this total as both teams allowed just 1 goal each across their 3 games.

I wouldn’t hammer the total at this value though, but it is the only way I would play this game though considering the presence of van Djik and Manchester City M Nathan Ake in the back for Netherlands.

Similarly, the wingbacks for USA, AC Milan D Sergino Dest and Fulham D Antonee Robinson, have been extremely solid so far this tournament. With Pulisic banged up, the US attack may not be 100% either.

Back the UNDER 2.5 (-170) but for no more than a unit considering the value.

JAGUARS -1 (-111) is where I’m leaning in this game as you can get the spread at better odds than the moneyline for Jacksonville to win. This game could come down to who performs better at QB between Lawrence and QB Jared Goff, and I believe Lawrence has the better outing.

The Lions are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a loss.

Over/Under

With both teams giving up plenty of points in recent weeks, OVER 51 (-110) is the ideal choice in this game. The game is being played in a dome and these teams are allowing a combined 49.3 points per game on the defensive side of the ball.
