Fans appreciated David Beckham for giving them an incredible inside look at the Spice Girls reunion

Thank you, David Beckham, for getting this footage.

We might not have an official Spice Girls reunion happening, but we got an unofficial one on Saturday night as Victoria Beckham — formerly Posh Spice — celebrated her 50th birthday with a big bash. All four fellow Spice Girls were in attendance and sang along to some of their biggest hits.

Thankfully, David Beckham — soccer icon and husband to Victoria — was a real one and took incredible video to share with the world. Beckham wonderfully stayed in frame in a selfie-style video as Melanie Chisholm (Sporty Spice), Geri Haliwell (Ginger Spice), Melanie Brown (Scary Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) joined Posh in a rendition of the group’s 1997 hit “Stop.”

The entire party was a star-studded affair, with Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Jason Statham were among those in attendance.

Fans absolutely loved the footage, and were grateful for Beckham’s video services.

The Minions won’t leave Nikola Jokić alone because he looks like Gru in new Despicable Me 4 promo

Nikola Jokić has a new group of fans: the Minions.

As the Denver Nuggets prepare to defend their NBA title in this year’s playoffs, superstar Nikola Jokić will play a massive role in that pursuit.

However, it seems like he might have to deal with a new batch of fans during this playoff run.

A brand-new promo for the animated sequel Despicable Me 4 shows Jokić, dressed in a suit, lamenting on the fact that he looks like Gru from the Despicable Me movies.

Because of that, Jokić shows that he’s being followed by a bunch of Minions who cannot get enough of how he looks like their (formerly) despicable boss.

This is an incredibly fun promo for the playoffs and the new movie, as Jokić and Minions is the combo we really didn’t know we needed.

If there’s ever a Space Jam-esque crossover between these two in a new movie, we will be there opening day for whatever happens.

Is SNL new tonight on April 20, 2024? Here’s the answer

Is SNL new tonight? Here’s the answer.

We’ve had a great season of Saturday Night Live, with some fantastic moments, from Christopher Walken’s Foo Fighters introduction to a very funny Scarlett Johansson’s surprise cold open to the Beavis and Butt-Head sketch.

If you’re here, you might be getting ready to watch SNL on Saturday, April 20, 2024 and wondering: is it all new tonight? Who’s hosting?

The answer … no, unfortunately. You’ll get a previous episode with Shane Gillis hosting and 21 Savage as the musical guest. When is the next new SNL, you ask? Good question! It’ll be May 4, with Dua Lipa doing double duty as host and musical guest:

Taylor Swift posts sweet video of Travis Kelce kissing her while she cooks

This is very sweet.

Taylor Swift already gave us at least a couple of songs that seem to be about Travis Kelce on The Tortured Poets Department, including The Alchemy and So High School.

And now, we’ve gotten a tiny peek into their domestic life, it seems — Swift posted a video that’s a montage of various moments while her Fortnight plays. One moment in it is Swift mixing something (you can see that it might be her famous cinnamon rolls!) in a kitchen while Kelce kisses her on the cheek. It’s quite cute.

Here’s the full video posted on Instagram and YouTube and the one moment with Kelce that has fans swooning:

Whoopi Goldberg jumps into WNBA salary debate, slams ESPN on The View for not investing more

“The women have the headlines. They have the fans. They have the viewers.”

So many people are talking about WNBA salaries and how things like TV and media rights play a direct role in their value. Now, Whoopi Goldberg is seemingly peeved with ESPN over the network’s approach to investing in the league.

In case you missed it, there was a lot of conversation this week about how much WNBA players make and why it’s so much less than the NBA. (We explained why here.) That chatter has somehow made its way over to Whoopi Goldberg and The View.

Goldberg took time on Thursday to make an impassioned plea for action regarding WNBA salaries and specifically took exception to ESPN’s approach.

Here’s what she told those in the studio audience (Warning: NSFW language used):

“The women have the headlines. They have the fans. They have the viewers. When the [expletive] are they going to get paid?…

Because ESPN, who we work with as part of the Disney thing, they came in and swooped in and said, ‘OK, we’re going to start to do this.’

I know there’s a re-up coming, but they should have kissed this deal by taking care of all of the WNBA and giving them enough money for a bump up because you know you have another deal to make. They should have sweetened that deal.”

What happens next if TikTok gets banned by Congress?

The clock is ticking (pun intended) for TikTok.

TikTok being banned by Congress could quickly become a reality.

For months, national security concerns have been raised about TikTok sharing U.S. user data with Beijing. In March, a bill was introduced that would force Bytedance, the company that owns TikTok, to sell the company or face a ban. Bytedance has firmly disputed those allegations, but now it may face an uphill battle.

Per Riley Beggin of USA TODAY, the House has included a version of its plan to enforce the ban in a foreign aid bill that is highly likely to pass both the House and Senate. (The House could vote on it as soon as this weekend, putting the onus on the Senate — who has had the legislation since last month — to pass it.) President Joe Biden has also expressed that he would sign the bill into law immediately. If the ban is passed, Bytedance has one year to sell TikTok or be banned.

Is Taylor Swift’s new song thanK you aIMee about Kim Kardashian? Fans are reading into the lyrics

Fans immediately drew a connection to the fashion mogul with the new track on The Tortured Poets Department.

Taylor Swift’s newest album dropped at midnight on Thursday as the 14-time Grammy winner surprised with 31 new songs on The Tortured Poets Department. While there were tracks that seemed to tell the stories of heartbreak with ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn and her short-lived follow-up relationship with singer Matty Healy, one song stood out to fans.

MORE: 9 Taylor Swift lyrics that may be Travis Kelce references from So High School and The Alchemy

Based on the lyrics and cryptic capitalizations in “thanK you aIMee,” Swifties quickly put it together that it might be about Swift’s longstanding feud with Kim Kardashian.

Swift has had beef with Kardashian and her ex-husband, Kanye West, for years, stemming back to West’s lyrics mentioning Swift in his song “Famous” and the phone call between the artists that was leaked in 2016.

The song details the pain “Aimee” put her through, but says “… I can’t forget the way you made me heal.”

Taylor Swift fans swoon over Travis Kelce references in 2 Tortured Poets Department songs

So High School and The Alchemy sounds like they’re about Travis Kelce.

The talk about Taylor Swift’s newest album, The Tortured Poets Department, was that it would cover her relationships with Joe Alwyn and Matt Healy.

And it did. But the big surprise — beyond the fact that she then dropped 15 (!!) extra surprise songs to go along with it — is that there are almost undoubtedly references to her relationship with Travis Kelce.

There are two songs that fans are zeroing in on: So High School and The Alchemy.

So High School has a lyric — “Are you gonna marry, kiss, or kill me” that refers to Kelce’s old video in which he played that game and said he’d kiss Swift. The Alchemy has football references everywhere: “So when I touch down, Call the amateurs and cut ’em from the team” and “Where’s the trophy? He just comes, running over to me.”

Here’s some reaction:

Victor Wembanyama refused to join Drake on stage at a concert unless his teammates could too

Victor Wembanyama showed incredible loyalty to his teammates.

During his tour last year, Drake brought several athletes to join him on stage at his concerts. Victor Wembanyama, however, was not one of them.

According to JJ Redick, who recently appeared on 7PM in Brooklyn with Carmelo Anthony & Kid Mero, explained why the NBA Rookie of the Year frontrunner wasn’t one of those players.

Here is what he said:

“There was a Drake concert in Austin and he got asked to come up on stage because Drake was doing that with a bunch of NBA guys this offseason. And Wemby was like: Can my teammates come up on stage with me? Because they are going to be at the concert with me. And Drake’s camp was like: No. And he’s like: Then I don’t want to do it … What 19-year-old kid doesn’t want to go up on stage with Drake?”

Remember, at the point of Drake’s concert, Wembanyama hadn’t even played any preseason games for the San Antonio Spurs yet.

So that is incredible loyalty from the 2023 NBA Draft No. 1 overall pick toward players he had never even officially gone to battle with yet.

Wembanyama, however, is built different both on and off the court. In another recent interview, for example, he explained why he never drinks or does drugs.

Here is what he told The Ringer’s Kevin O’Connor:

“I feel like I’m immune … Distractions like partying, alcohol, drugs, whatever. Like, why would I ever do that?”

Wembanyama is truly one-of-one and unlike any player we have ever seen before in the NBA.

He has a disciplined focus and mindset that will continue to get him far in this league.
