Levi Wallace/Kevin Johnson vs. Jamison Crowder

Jamison Crowder had a standout performance against the Bills in Week 1, he had 14 grabs and 99 yards. He was Darnold’s favorite target, especially in the center of the field. Crowder was working against Levi Wallace and Kevin Johnson throughout the first game. Crowder was lined up outside and in the slot, getting whatever he wanted, no matter the opposition. Thankfully for Buffalo’s defense Crowder did not pick up chunk plays.

Levi Wallace has had an up and down season, at times he’s looked like a viable counterpart to star corner Tre’Davious White. At other times throughout the season, *cough, Cleveland, cough* he’s looked like an undrafted cornerback. This type of inconsistency is a killer for a championship caliber defense, and can be further exposed in the playoffs. Kevin Johnson on the other hand, has shown his versatility as cornerback who can cover on the outside, and in the slot.

It will be a tough outing for the two corners, due to how smooth Crowder can run routes, it can turn into a long day for Buffalo if they can’t him, or protect the middle of the field. Both Wallace and Johnson should see a good chunk of playing time in this one, even know No. 1 players start exiting the game.
