Linebacker: Preston Brown, Lorenzo Alexander, Tremaine Edmunds, Matt Milano, Zach Brown

Buffalo has had a solid array of interior linebackers during this decade. Preston Brown led the way with 505 total tackles in four seasons in Buffalo. Tremaine Edmunds, in only two seasons, has registered 236 total tackles. Edmunds is a central figure of this new-age Bills defense, playing well against the run and improving in his pass coverage.

Lorenzo Alexander leads all linebackers with 24 sacks during this time. His versatility, play against the run, and pass rush makes him a good option among this group.

Matt Milano and Zach Brown act as honorable mentions on this list. Milano has been an all-everything type of player for the Bills, playing well against the run and in coverage. Brown, in his only season in Buffalo, earned a Pro Bowl nod in 2016 but didn’t fit in Sean McDermott’s defensive scheme and was not re-signed by the team.
