Report: Bill Callahan out as offensive line coach in Washington

A report has surfaced that offensive line coach and former interim head coach Bill Callahan is not being retained by Ron Rivera.

While much of the coaching staff in Washington is unsure about their future with the Redskins, a report from ESPN’s John Keim says that offensive line coach — and former interim head coach — Bill Callahan, is out.

It was obvious that Callahan would no longer stay in his role at the top with Ron Rivera being named the new head coach in Washington, and it’s not a huge surprise that Callahan leaves the franchise altogether, as Rivera will likely implement a lot of his own offensive staff.

While it remains a strong possibility that offensive coordinator Kevin O’Connell will stay on as the OC, coaches like Callahan, along with others, are likely gone as the new regime looks to change the culture in Washington
