Bills in the 2010s: Best defensive players of the decade

Here are the best players on defense for Buffalo during the last decade.

Special teams: Colton Schmidt

Colton Schmidt averaged 44 yards per punt during his time in Buffalo. His net average of 39.4 gave him the edge over Brian Moorman. Unfortunately, Schmidt’s poor performance during the 2018 season ultimately led to his release. However, he eclipsed the 40-yard net average twice in four full seasons in Buffalo. Schmidt really has a strangle-hold on the special teams discussion thanks to his longevity.
