It’s time for another Longhorns Wire roundtable discussion.
Texas head coach Tom Herman had quite the haul in regards to the incoming 2020 recruiting class. However, there’s a few other players who haven’t necessarily been able to showcase their talents in Austin yet.
Jordan Whittington was injured the majority of his freshman season on campus, while transfer receiver Tarik Black has yet to wear the burnt orange. On top of that duo, several highly-rated recruits are expected to compete for playing time immediately as true freshman.
While some newcomers will spend the 2020 season grooming to become a successor at their particular role, others many have the opportunity to break out right away.
