Bijan Robinson – RB

The running back position is suddenly loaded with Keaontay Ingram and Roschon Johnson returning from the 2019 team. As the passing game coordinator for the Ohio State Buckeyes, Mike Yurcich used a running back heavily in his offense. In his final year at Oklahoma State, Yurcich deployed a multi-back system with Justice Hill, Chubba Hubbard and Taylor Cornelius. They combined for 2,076 yards rushing and 28 total touchdowns.

Given that Yurcich has used multiple backs in most recent years as the offensive coordinator gives you the impression that backs will get their opportunity. With Bijan Robinson now in the fold, he should get plenty of opportunity. In high school, the five-star recruit was a one-man wrecking crew. He has the vision, patience and contact balance that the elite backs have.

Robinson should get some touches early on in his career that he can build momentum on. If he is able to make his mark, look for Bijan to take carries away from Ingram and Johnson.
