Four-star wide receiver Kojo Antwi has committed to the Ohio State Buckeyes football program. Antwi was a key Georgia Bulldogs and Texas A&M Aggies recruiting target. The Lambert High School star’s recruitment may not be over, but now he’s the latest elite wide receiver to commit to the Buckeyes.
The Suwanee, Georgia, native and the nation’s No. 16 receiver and No. 115 overall player. Antwi is a member of the class of 2022.
The schools vying the strongest for Antwi were Georgia, Texas A&M and Ohio State. Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs were among the favorites, but Ohio State won out in the end.
The Buckeyes have been the nation’s best program at recruiting top-ranked wide receivers since Brian Hartline took over as wide receiver coach. Hartline, a former NFL and Ohio State wide receiver, is among the top recruiting coaches in the country regardless of position.
Antwi is very impressive after the catch. The 6-foot, 190-pound receiver racks up extra yardage after contact similar to former Ohio State star Curtis Samuel.
The four-star wide receiver visited UGA on June 4 and traveled to College Station, Texas, to visit the Aggies one week later. Antwi had USC and Alabama in his most recent top five.
Antwi locked in his commitment to the Ohio State Buckeyes on July 5. Antwi’s commitment video has the right touch, and we wish him the best:
