Where Texas RB Bijan Robinson lands in latest NFL mock draft after combine

This offense would be scary with the addition of Bijan Robinson.

Texas running back Bijan Robinson is one of the top NFL draft prospects for the 2023 class.

The former Longhorn performed well at the NFL Combine in Indianapolis over the last week and certainly has the makings of a starting running back at the professional level.

Many NFL draft experts believe Robinson will be selected around the middle of the first round of the 2023 NFL draft. He’s been projected to the Philadelphia Eagles, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills and Detroit Lions most often.

In USA TODAY Sports’ latest NFL mock draft after the combine, Robinson is projected to be taken off of the board with the No. 27 overall pick to the Buffalo Bills.

A three-down back with his talent and speed – Robinson clocked a 4.46 40 on Sunday – would have been a surefire top-five selection 20 years ago. This has to be the year Buffalo pulls the trigger on a guy who averaged 7 yards per touch for the Longhorns in order to reduce the rushing load on QB Josh Allen, right? Especially with Devin Singletary’s contract expiring? Quite the workhorse, Robinson had more than 3,300 yards from scrimmage over the past two seasons. – Nate Davis

It’s highly likely that Robinson won’t be available within the final few picks of the first round, but he would sure provide an immediate boost to an already lethal offense in Buffalo.

The 2023 NFL draft will begin on Thursday, April 27 in Kansas City.
