The anticipation for the upcoming college football season to begin could not be higher.
Hype tends to surround the Texas football program in general, but when you’ve been without sports for several months the eagerness for it to return is quadrupled.
The Longhorns social media department increased the excitement on Thursday by releasing a hype video surrounding the date of their first scheduled game.

The short clip includes several leaders such as quarterback Sam Ehlinger, safety Caden Sterns, running back Keontay Ingram and cornerback D’Shawn Jamison.
There’s plenty of reasons to be excited for this upcoming season if you’re a Texas fan. There’s two new promising coordinators on the coaching staff, one of the top quarterbacks in the country is leading the way, and several highly-rated recruits are joining the mix.
Texas is scheduled to begin their season at home against South Florida on September 5.
