The Texas Longhorns head coach Tom Herman spoke with the media following the 27-16 victory over the Baylor Bears. Herman spoke immediately about playing cleaner football with just five penalties. He did speak about the lone injury coming from Joseph Ossai. He suffered a shoulder injury in the first half and put a brace on to get back into the game late.
Herman mentioned that Roschon Johnson gave a great speech as they left the locker room to kick off the third quarter. The team did a good job on defense of limiting what the Baylor offense could do, but the offense responded with 27 straight points to secure the win for Texas.
Herman went on to mention that the Longhorns made an emphasis during the bye week of getting back to running the football. The team responded as whole on both sides of the ball when it came to running the football and stopping the run.
