UGA back in mix for elite RB Treyaun Webb

The Georgia Bulldogs are back in contention for four-star class of 2023 running back Treyaun Webb.

The Georgia Bulldogs are back in contention for four-star class of 2023 running back Treyaun Webb. Webb recently decommitted from the Oklahoma Sooners.

Webb and several other top Sooner recruits decommitted from Oklahoma following Lincoln Riley’s surprising decision to accept the head coaching at USC.

Webb was previously committed to Kirby Smart and UGA in November 2019. Webb backed off that decision.

Webb plays football at Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida.

The 6-foot, 188-pound athlete mostly plays running back and wide receiver. On film, Webb shows prowess as a pass blocker, bounces off attempted tackles and displays good hands. Webb is ranked No. 96 overall in his class and is one of the top prospects in Florida.

Georgia, Ohio State and Oklahoma made Webb’s top three schools back in June. USC is now likely in the mix for the four-star running back as well.

The Trinity Christian star announced his decommitment via Twitter:

Webb has reopened his recruitment and has plenty of time to make a decision. We will continue to provide updates on his recruiting process.
