The Kansas City Chiefs have successfully taken over headlines outside of NFL circles after tight end Travis Kelce’s relationship with pop star Taylor Swift went public early in the season.
Kelce hosted the popular comedy mainstay “Saturday Night Live” after the Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory in February, and made another appearance on the beloved program last night in a cameo during the show’s intro.
Comedians Kenan Thompson and Pete Davidson teamed up to parody the recent coverage of the Kelce-Swift relationship that has taken the nation by storm. Kelce and Swift would both appear on the show, and their arrival at the program’s afterparty was all the rage on social media.
This marks a new high for the hype behind the All-Pro tight end’s relationship with the 12-time Grammy winner and is sure to be mentioned incessantly in the lead-up to Kansas City’s next game against the Los Angeles Chargers in Week 7.
