Caden Sterns

Caden Sterns had the most to gain from Texas’ pro day. He’s considered a middle of the pack prospect — many know how athletic he is, but he put it on full display on Thursday by running the best 40-yard dash of the day.

NFL organizations won’t draft solely based on athleticism, but Sterns is causing scouts to reconsider. Sterns is a solid safety prospect who’s tall, athletic, can jump and has ball skills. It could be too much to pass up in the middle rounds.

Sterns’ Official Numbers:

Height: 6-0

Weight: 207 pounds

4.4 40-yard dash
14 bench reps
42″ vertical
10’8″ broad jump
