Three landing spots in the 2020 NFL Draft for Collin Johnson

Johnson’s size and athleticism are what make him a desirable target for many NFL teams. Here are three spots for him in the 2020 NFL draft.

New York Jets

Much like talking about Devin Duvernay and him possibly going to the New England Patriots, the Jets just need weapons for franchise quarterback Sam Darnold. Adding star running back Le’Veon Bell in free agency in 2019, the Jets have not given him and Darnold weapons in the passing game to fully open up their abilities.

Jamison Crowder and Rodney Anderson led the way for the Jets this season, but neither was able to hit 1,000 yards. The third leading receiver for New York was 32-year old Demarius Thomas. Reinforcements are needed for the Jets in 2020, as they have the opportunity to contend for a wild card spot in the AFC.

The need is there, especially with Rodney Anderson being a free agent this upcoming offseason. With Johnson more than likely being available in the later rounds of the draft, picking him up would be a good move for New York. Adding weapons for your franchise quarterback is never a bad idea. Especially a younger quarterback.
