Three and out Ohio State football spring game halftime review

The first half of the Ohio State football spring game is in the books and we have already found out a few things. Here are three.

Jack Sawyer is worth the hype!

Ohio State has been an absolute defensive end factory and Zach Harrison was viewed as the next in line. But freshman Jack Sawyer has been dominating the spring game with three sacks. The local boy from Pickerington, Ohio is worth his five-star hype.

It’s been fun so far, and now we wait to see what unfolds for the second half where the offense will be going against the defense. We should see unit combinations and maybe get a little sense of who is with the first, second, and third strings. Of course, we’ll caveat all of that with the fact that head coach Ryan Day is unlikely to give anything away, but it won’t stop us from observing.
