Texas Football: Most important recruits that are expected to be on campus this weekend

This weekend will be a monster one for the Texas football program as they’re expected to host numerous top 2022 and 2023 recruits.

Texas’ football program is gearing up for a monster weekend on the Forty Acres.

Several of the most sought-after recruits from the 2022 and 2023 recruiting class are expected to be in Austin this weekend. The group is headlined by the nation’s No. 1 overall quarterback prospect for the 2023 cycle in Arch Manning.

Keep in mind that plans could change in the spur of the moment. Five-star linebacker Harold Perkins is a great example of that. Perkins was scheduled to take an official visit to USC this weekend, but for unknown reasons that was pushed back and he will now be taking an unofficial visit to Texas instead.

It’s a critical weekend in particular for Texas defensive line coach Bo Davis and offensive line coach Kyle Flood. At least three of the top defensive lineman prospects from the 2022 class will be on campus, along with three of the top offensive line targets from the same class.
