To no surprise, Texas continues to tumble in USA TODAY Sports re-rank of every FBS team.
After losing their six consecutive game, the Longhorns dropped 16 spots to No. 86 overall. Kansas is now the only Big 12 program ranked below Texas. However, there’s a tight race atop the conference standings between Oklahoma State, Oklahoma, and Baylor.
Here’s where each Big 12 team landed:
No. 6: Oklahoma State
No. 7: Oklahoma
No. 10: Baylor
No. 38: Kansas State
No. 47: Iowa State
No. 66: Texas Tech
No. 70: West Virginia
No. 81: TCU
No. 86: Texas
No. 105: Kansas
Now that the Longhorns are unable to reach a bowl game, the regular-season finale will be the last chance for Steve Sarkisian and his staff to end this season on a high note.
