Four-star safety to visit UGA football

Four-star safety recruit Zech Fort sets official visit with UGA football

IMG Academy’s four-star safety recruit, Zech Fort, recently revealed Alabama, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Notre Dame, and Ohio State as his top six schools.

Since announcing his top schools list, Fort has picked up an offer from Bill Belichick and North Carolina, and he has scheduled a visit to Georgia Tech on Feb. 1. Fort remains in contact with a wide array of programs and has already locked in an official visit to one of his top schools.

“I have confirmed an official visit to Georgia from June 13-15,” Fort shared with On3.

When narrowing down his list, Fort expressed strong admiration for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs.

“Coach Smart played safety at Georgia, so being coached by someone who has played my position would be amazing,” Fort said. “That’s always been a big factor for me when evaluating schools. Georgia also consistently sends players to the NFL draft, with top picks each year. Their ability to develop players stands out to me.”
