Arch Manning begins his senior season on Friday night.
Texas commits Arch Manning and Will Randle are set to begin their senior season tonight as Isidore Newman School takes on De La Salle High School.
The duo made headlines with their summer commitment to Steve Sarkisian’s program. Texas shot up the recruiting ranks over 30 spots in the 2023 recruiting rankings and now sit comfortably in the top five overall.
Manning is the No. 1 prospect in the nation with a near-perfect scouting grade on the 247Sports composite ranks. He has drawn recent comparisons to former Colts star Andrew Luck.
Randle is a three-star tight end with tons of upside at the next level. He has a solid frame and excellent athleticism that bodes well for Steve Sarkisian’s offensive scheme.

Texas is looking to stack another top-five recruiting class for the 2023 cycle.
Texas added to its 2023 recruiting class with the addition of three-star tight end Will Randle on Sunday. He becomes the seventh commit of Texas’ 2023 class which is currently ranked No. 24 in the nation.
He chose the Longhorns over offers from Alabama, Florida State and LSU.
The 6-foot-3, New Orleans product ranks as the No. 35 tight end in the nation and a top 25 player from the state of Louisiana according to 247Sports composite.
Randle’s commitment creates some recruiting momentum for Steve Sarkisian and his staff. Texas hosted a strong group of visitors over the weekend as the coaches continue to build relationships with their top targets.
Texas is looking to stack another top-five recruiting class for the 2023 cycle. The Longhorns remain in the mix for targets such as Arch Manning, Johntay Cook, Anthony Hill and multiple other five-stars.

Arch Manning’s high school teammate makes his commitment… and it’s not the Crimson Tide.
Three-star tight end, Will Randle, elects Texas over Alabama. Randle is a 6’3, 220-pound multi-position athlete who played both sides of the ball in high school and is extremely versatile.
Randle is a great land for the Longhorns as he adds even more talent to a very deep position for them.

Texas is continuing to build its southeastern footprint on the recruiting front. The Longhorns have picked up a commitment from three-star tight end Will Randle out of Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans.

247Sports composite ranks Randle as the No. 35 tight end in the nation and a top 25 player from the state of Louisiana.
The 6-foot-3, 220-pounder profiles as a flex tight end or H-back at the college level. Randle is a three-sport star with the athleticism to thrive in Steve Sarkisian’s offense.
Landing Randle will no dought benefit Texas in the Arch Manning recruitment. The two are high school teammates and have taken many college visits together.
