Check out some of the best high-resolution photos of Ohio State’s win vs. Western Kentucky Saturday afternoon. #GoBucks

It was a fun day at the ‘Ole Horseshoe on Saturday afternoon. That’s because the Ohio State football team unleashed the most impressive offensive explosion we’ve seen from the squad so far this season. It started a little slow, but then an onslaught occurred beginning towards the end of the second quarter that finished with a 63-10 Buckeye victory.

It was good to see and it was also good to capture in some pretty amazing high-resolution photos. With all of the explosive plays and moments in this one, there were plenty of pictures to encapsulate the dominating win.

We bring you some of the best photos we can find after each Ohio State win, and we’ve got quite a few to share with you after the win over the Hilltoppers on Saturday afternoon in a scrolling gallery.

Happy viewing.

WATCH: Western Kentucky head coach Tyson Helton praises Ohio State after the game

Western Kentucky head coach Tyson Helton was quick to give Ohio State credit for how the game went on Saturday rather than lament his own team. Hear him heap praise on the Buckeyes. #GoBucks

It’s always nice to have your praises sung to you by those close to you. In sports, when your coach or your teammates show you appreciation and compliment you, it feels like a warm glass of milk.

But when it comes from the opponent, it might mean even more, especially in a competitive environment when the opposition never wants to relent or give in to reality. If that’s the case, the Ohio State football team should feel pretty good about what Western Kentucky head coach Tyson Helton said about the Buckeyes after the 63-10 win on Saturday afternoon.

Tyson met with the media after the game to talk about what happened on the field, and he was very complimentary of the team, players and coaches that Ohio State has, going out of his way several times to heap praise on OSU rather than criticize his own team.

It’s worth a watch if you haven’t seen it yet. We were there for the press conference and uploaded it to our YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure.

And now the prep for the big one begins. Ohio State will need to replicate the effort it had on Saturday and maybe more when it heads to South Bend to take on Notre Dame.

WATCH: Ryan Day Western Kentucky postgame press conference

Watch and listen to everything head coach Ryan Day said after the win over Western Kentucky. #GoBucks

Ohio State finally went out did what many expected it to do on the offensive side of the football, gaining a bushel of yards and scoring a bunch of points in a 63-10 victory over Western Kentucky on Saturday afternoon.

It looked like all aspects of the game were clicking. The running game was finding holes and lanes to gain chunks of yards. The passing game was efficient and explosive. The defense held a high-flying passing attack more or less in check.

At the end, OSU head coach Ryan Day had to be much more satisfied with this performance than what he saw the first two weeks of the season, and that was reflected in his postgame press conference.

If you missed any of what Day said, you can get caught up thanks to video obtained from the Ohio State Buckeyes Facebook page below. He discussed the week of practice leading up to the game, the way Kyle McCord played, the defensive effort, the offensive explosion and more.

Five things we think we learned from Ohio State’s win over Western Kentucky

Here are five things we think we learned. What did you learn? #GoBucks

Well, that was more like it on the offensive side of the ball.

After some grinding and smoking through the first two games of the year, Ohio State, and it’s newly minted starting quarterback, Kyle McCord, found a little rhythm. They staged an ambush at the end of the first half and finally showed the potential of all the weapons on the roster in a 63-10 victory.

It’s exactly what we wanted to see heading into the massive matchup with Notre Dame next week and, hopefully, a very encouraging sign of better days ahead.

At the end of every Ohio State football game, we try to give you five things we think we learned from observing the action on the field, and it’s time to dissect what we saw once again.

Here are five things we think we learned after watching OSU breakout against Western Kentucky Saturday afternoon.

Ohio State football vs Western Kentucky: Five observations halftime review

Ohio State football vs Western Kentucky: Five observations halftime review #GoBucks

The Ohio State football team is putting the beatdown on the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and are heading into halftime with a 42-10 lead. Fans are less focused on this game and are viewing this as more of a warm-up for Notre Dame next week and honestly, it looks like the coaching staff is too.

This Buckeye squad looks primed and ready to go. The offense looks explosive, while the defense has been somewhat challenged for the first time, but not enough to lose this team any games. Not every question can be answered against a team like Western Kentucky, but we can sure try to answer some.

Ohio State needs to keep its foot on the gas pedal in the second half to make sure that Kyle McCord can keep this confidence rolling, but let’s dive into the five most interesting things of note from a first half of fireworks.

TreVeyon Henderson turns on the jets for Ohio State score: Social media reacts

Treveyon Henderson gets the Buckeyes on the scoreboard against Western Kentucky. #GoBucks

After missing a wide-open receiver on third down, Ohio State quarterback, Kyle McCord, found Emeka Egbuka for a key fourth-down conversion. From there TreVeyon Henderson turned a corner and then turned on the jets as he scampered for a 21-yard touchdown for the first score of the game vs. Western Kentucky.

The offense looked efficient overall. McCord only had the one incompletion and Henderson tallied 32 yards on three carries for more than a 10-yard average. At the start of the game, Henderson is just 78 yards away from 2,000 career yards in Scarlet and Gray.

As always, there is no shortage of opinions, so let’s take a look at the best reactions from the Buckeye’s first score of the afternoon.

Ohio State vs. Western Kentucky: stream, injury report, broadcast info

Here’s how to find and watch Ohio State take on Western Kentucky Saturday afternoon. #GoBucks

It’s time for the Ohio State football team to take another step on its journey to a special season — or so we hope. The first two weeks were winning ones, but not performances that have future opponents dreading the colors of scarlet and gray.

But now, Ryan Day has named Kyle McCord the official starting quarterback and it’s time to see some improvement against Western Kentucky Saturday to build towards the massive clash with Notre Dame next weekend. But … (star it, highlight it, and bedazzle it) OSU can ill afford to look ahead because the Hilltoppers have one whale of an offense that’s going to test the defense, especially the secondary with a high-flying, sling-it-around-the-field offense.

We know you’re wanting to take this one in and see what kind of progress this team can make from week-to-week, so we have everything you need to know to find and watch the game Saturday afternoon.

Off we go with all of the details, including key players and injury notes.

[autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] faces off against [autotag]Western Kentucky[/autotag] this Saturday, and if you looked at the matchup on paper, the Buckeyes should cruise to an easy victory.

We all wish it was that easy, but it isn’t. Ohio State will need to accomplish more than a few things to finish their afternoon with another victory.

Now that head coach [autotag]Ryan Day[/autotag] has named his starting quarterback, [autotag]Kyle McCord[/autotag], that’s one less question that needs to be answered, but with that more of them popped up.

Here are five questions that Ohio State must answer for them to finish the day 3-0 early in the 2023 season.

Know your foe: Which Western Kentucky Hilltoppers might give Ohio State issues

The Buckeye defense will be tested this weekend #GoBucks

[autotag]Ohio State football[/autotag] will face it’s toughest test to date, as it welcomes in the high-powered offense of [autotag]the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers[/autotag].

The Hilltoppers enter the game No. 12 in the nation in passing offense and tied for No. 18 in scoring, with 46.5 points per game. It’s going to be a very solid test of the Buckeye secondary, as they haven’t seen either of their first two opponents really probe the back end of the defense.

That will change this Saturday, and since none of us are Conference USA superfans, this will help figure out which WKU players’ names you might be hearing getting their names getting called often against the Ohio State.
